It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs Alice Waithira Njenga of Ministry of Transport Nairobi, after a brave battle with brain cancer.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Njenga Wanyoike. Adorable daughter of Simon Ngaruiya and Mary Njeri. Daughter in law of the late Simeon Nyoike and the late Ciriaka Nyokabi. Loving Mother to Sheilann Nyokabi and Zipporah Njeri. Mother In law to Edward Murithi. Doting grandmother to Odilia Tobi Murithi. Dear sister to Winnie, Salome, Wanjama and Waithera, Ng’ang’a and Monica, Eva, Waithaka and Njeri.Sister in law to Kinuthia, the Late Wairimu, Muthoni, the Late Karangu, Gaitho, the Late Ngugi and Kamau. Beloved niece, cousin and auntie to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Kahawa Wendani near Kwang’ethe Primary School for the funeral arrangements.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 25th 2020 at 7.30am for a funeral service at Christ the King Catholic Church Githurai Kimbo at 10.00am. Thereafter burial at Langata Cemetery.

Wife of Dr. Kenneth Samuel Mbati (Nakuru) and loving mother of Advocate Harold Mbati (Harry), the late Dr. Cindy Flora Kavaya Mbati, Kevina Brenda lkwii Mbati and Mabel Khayatsya Mbati. Mother in law of Faith Kerubo Kimaiga Mbati and grandmother of Eli M’meli Mbati.

Daughter of the late Clement Obwaku and Kevina Obwaku. Sister of Consolata and Tom Opondo, the late Dennis, the late Frida, the late Assumpta and Peter Mufoyongo (K.R.A. Nkr), the late Peter and Petronilla, Andrew and Mary Obwaku.

Sister-in-law of the late Florence and the late Stanley Sanya, Prof. Elizabeth and the late Prof. Kokwaro, James and Elizabeth Mbati, Douglas and Janet Mbati, Beverly Mbati, the late Roselyn and Ambrose Alela, Dr. Joy and Zedekiah Otolo, Georgina and Dr. Oliver Riccius (Switzerland). Aunt and cousin of many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are being held daily at Dr. Mbati’s residence in Nakuru, Kiamunyi Olive —inn from 3:30pm.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home (Nkr) on Thursday 24/09/2020 at 2:00pm for a requiem mass at A.C.K. St. Christopher’s church Milimani.

Funeral service and burial will take place at the Mbati’s rural home in Luanda Division, Ebusiralo location on Saturday 26/09/2020, 9:00 am.

Carol Wanjau, Rosslyn Mutahi & Richard Mutai. Caring and loving auntie of many nephews and nieces and loved by her many cousins.

Prayers will take place on Tuesday 22nd, 5pm at the family home in Ngong. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 24th Sep 10.30am at St Francis Church, Karen.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee Romanos Nthiga Ndwiga, formerly of Kenya Army, the 10 Engineers Battalion.

Son of the late Sebastian Ndwiga Kaguti and the late Juliana Runji Kanjama of Kibugu Sub-Location, Nginda Location, Embu North. Husband of Joyce Kaura Nthiga (Former H/T St. Francis Primary School, Embu). Son in-law of Late Samson M’muga and Sarah M’muga. Brother of Jacinta Wakini, the late Robert Njuki, the late Maxwel Kathigara. Brother-in-law of Late Silas Mwiti, Ayub Muriuki, Moses Kiogora, Lucy Karuta, Lillian Kagwiria and a cousin of many. Father of Maureen Wanginda Tarus (KRA), Bridget Gatwiri, Cleophus Murithi (Rainbow Patriots Security), Boaz Magana (KPLC) and Brenda Wandia (KRA).

He was father in-law of Tarus Koech, Rose Murithi and Sally Magana. Uncle of Christine Kanyua, the late Dominic Muriuki, Kelvin Mutugi, Kennedy Macharia among others. He was Grandfather of Anita Chebet, Felix Munene, Amelle Cheptoo, BenitaTarus, Trevor Murangiri and Jayce Magana.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Imara Daima Estate – Nairobi and his home in Kibugu-Embu for prayers and funeral arrangements from 6.00pm.

There will be a funds drive at Imara Daima on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati, Thika on Friday 25th September 2020 at 7:00am. Thereafter, a funeral mass and burial will be held at his home  in Kibugu, Manyatta Constituency, Embu County from 10:00 am.

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Vitas Okumu Oludhe (Jakambare) which occurred on 10th September 2020 after a short illness.

He was the son to the late Paul Oludhe Rajuai and Hellen Oludhe of Gem Kambare Siaya County. He was a loving husband to Mary Akello Okumu, a loving father to Beatrice Awino (Teacher at Masogo Primary), Maureen Okumu (Administration Police), Anjeline Okumu (Mechanical Transport Fund Kisumu) Horace Omondi (Kenya Defence Forces), Yvonne Akoth and Derick Odhiambo. He was a brother to Mary Otom, Gaudencia Akoth, the late Vincent Juma, Laurence Otieno, Fransisca Atieno, Consolota Anyango, Juliet Oludhe and Michael Omondi Oludhe.

The body lies at The Star Annex Mortuary Kisumu. The Cortege leaves Kisumu on 25th September 2020 for an overnight stay at his Kambare home. He will be laid to rest at his rural home in Kambare Village Gem Sub County Siaya County on 26th September 2020.

In God’s arms you rest, in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in peace Jakambare.

Sister in law to Jennifer Wambura, Peter Warui and Francis Gathangu. Aunt to: Suejean, Lynette, Terah, Prudence, Jayden, Wisdom, Faith, Esther, Antony and Hector.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Oakwood Springs opposite PAC University from 3pm to 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on 24/9/2020 at 8am for funeral service at Parklands Baptist Church then afterwards Burial at Langata Cemetery.

She was the cherished mother to Stella Njoki & Joseph Njoroge, Ken Waichigo & Susan Mwangi, Watson Mwangi (Mustapha), Addy Waichigo and Anne Wanjiku & Jackson Kamau (Soucy)

She was also the dotting grandmother to Mary Magdalene Njeri, Tumaini Kabura, Chui, Pato, Wairimu and Ethan.

She was a sister to David Kiragu Mwangi, Salome Waithira Karani, Samuel Mbogo Mwangi, Teresia Nduta Mutegi, the late Robert Irungu Mwangi, the late Susan Gathoni Mwangi and the late Charles Kamau Mwangi.

She is now in God’s eternal embrace.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 at 7.00 a.m. for her resting place at Kaheti Village, Muyu Location, Mukurweini Sub-County. Requiem Mass will be held at Kaheti Catholic Church at 10.00 a.m.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori funeral home on Thursday 24/09/2020 at 9.00am and thereafter burial will be at his home in Kirigi, Manyatta, Embu County.

Burial service will be held at Kitale Progressive Primary School at 9AM on 23rd September and there after laid to rest at his farm in Kitale (Lessos).
