It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of MwalimuYobesh N.Anyona of Jogoo Primary School, Getembe Division. Son of the late Naftal Nyakeruri Anyona and Milkah Bonareri. Loving Husband of Jane Bochaberi Nyabuto (Kisii bottlers Ltd). Father of Vanis Nyanchama,Vinic Nyaboke, Bevin Kerubo, Zachariah Edward Anyona, Dawn Bonareri and Abigael Kemuma. Brother of Daniel, Billiah (Nyamagwa high school), Doris, Elijah, Alice, Isabellah, Onsarigo, Monchari, Joel and Malachi. Son-in-law of the late Edward Kenya, Charles Nyaribo and the late Joyce Nyanchama.
Nephew of the late Tinega, the late Nyanchoka, Teresia, the late Mose, the late Makambi, Ntabo, Manasi, Nyangweso, the late Kwamboka and Onderi. Prayers and burial arrangement are being held daily at his home in Jogoo stage Miwa, Kisii county and at his rural home at Manga settlement scheme Nyamira county. The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Sunday 2nd April 2017, for burial at his rural home Manga settlement scheme on Monday 3rd April 2017.

Margaret Wamaitha (Nyina Sarah)

We the family of the late Philip Wachira Gachichio wish to convey our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Almighty God, our relatives, friends, colleagues and well-wishers for the overwhelming support and encouragement we received during the sickness and subsequent demise of Margaret Wamaitha Wachira, our beloved Mum. We are extremely grateful for the moral support. spiritual support through prayers and the financial support in the fundraising that enabled us to clear the hefty hospital bill.
We wish to particularly thank doctors and nurses in Kiria-ini Hospital, Outspan Hospital, Nyeri, (Dr Muturi), Avenue Hospital, Prof. Alice Musibi, Dr. M D Maina and MP Shah Hospital (Dr Davy Paresh, Sr. Gichuki, Sr Esther King’ori and Dr P N. Ngugi, our mum’s long time doctor for the care they accorded to her, National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) and all those who donated blood. We also wish to thank the Full Gospel Church-Gichiche led by Pastor Maina and the other clergy for the spiritual support during the bereavement period. Special thanks goes to the Nairobi Committee led by Paul Thuita (Patmar), the Chinga Committee led by Mrs Esther Wairimu Wachira, all the Guests of Honour during the fundraising, the various groups of friends from Donholm, Nakuru Wachira and Nairobi fuel depots, Committee-Millenium 2000 Hotel Nyamakima for the role you played in raising the money to cover the hefty hospital bill. Our special appreciation goes to Kameme FM team led by Muthoni Kirumba and Mzee Kihenjo for active support in raising awareness when our mum needed blood and for calling out for money towards the main fundraising.
We also wish to appreciate Hon Moses Kuria, Patrick Munene Kairu, Dr. Wahome Gakuru, Dan Wamahiu, Kamau Njenga and other leaders for the support they accorded the family during the bereavement period. Our appreciation also goes to Top Image Events —Jane Mbuthia, Global Events( Mr Joel Muchembe), Mr Makumbi( Catering Services), Urithi Housing Cooperative, Rafiki Funeral services, amongst others for the services they provided towards the funeral arrangements. It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Maurice Kinyeki Gitari which occurred on 26th March 2017.
Son of the late Ibrahim Gitari and Janet Kambo. Beloved husband of the late Mrs Grace Wanjiku Kinyeki. Loving father of Ibrahim Gitari, Wendy Muthoni and Abraham Gitari. Cherished brother of Mr Anthony Warui Gitari. Brother in-law of Wangithi and Wambui. Son in-law of Mr & Mrs John Migwi. Loving uncle and mentor of many.
The cortege leaves Portreiz mortuary on 30th March 2017 at 2pm and taken to Chaani Chief’s camp and later leave to Kirinyaga county at I 600hrs. He will be laid to rest at the family farm in Sagana, Gakindu village, Kirinyaga county on 31st March 2017.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the untimely death of our beloved Boaz Onyancha Davis (Jared) which occurred at Agakhan Hospital on 23rd March 2017 after a short illness. Until his death he served as Credit Manager Equity Bank Kisii Branch.
Son of Agnes Moraa & the late Samuel Kinaro Kemosi. Husband of Lydiah Sarange (Barclays Bank Nairobi). Father of Naomi, Ruth & Jonathan., Brother of Jane Kwamboka, Esther Nyaboke, Ishmael Nyabuti Joseph (Kisii University), Monica Kemunto, Anne Mokeira, Beatrice Nyanchama David Orang’o (Riokindo Girls). Son-in-law of the late Naomi Mong’ina Ogari. Brother-in-law of Eunice, Bilha and Brian Ogari. There will be a fundraising in Nairobi on Tuesday 4th April 2017. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mr Zack Mbori of Saye, Konyango, North Kamagak, Homa Bay County.

Son of Salmon Ondiek Aming’ and Mama Sarah Jowuodho Ondiek. Step-son of Mama Doris Ondiek. Husband of Beldina Achola Mbori.

Father of Dorothy Ngacha, Lilian Ohayo, John Mbori, Bob Mbori, Azu Ogola.

Brother of Silah Nyaoke, Nick Asinjo (late), Dr. Zeph Gaya, Elly Ajwang’, Rosa, Odwar, Samson, Johanna, Elisha, Pamela, Teresa, Tabitha, Adhiambo (late), Deborah (late). Uncle and Grandfather to many.

The funeral service will be held at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Milimani on Friday 7th April 2017 at 11.00am. The burial will take place at his home in Saye, on Sunday 9th April 2017.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 5.00pm at House No. 163, Old Kiambu Road (next to Muthaiga Golf Club).

Esther Wariara Thiong’o

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of our Colleague – Ms. Esther Wariara Thiong’o of Harambee Sacco who passed away on Friday, 24th March 2017 following a tragic road accident on Nairobi – Nyeri Highway. She hailed from Kangemi,Thiong’o road (Thiboro).

Daughter of Simon Thiong’o Kamau and Regina Wanja Thiongo. Mother of Sylvia Wanja of Kenyatta University and Catherine Wanjira of Mugoiri Girls. She was sister of Stephen Kamau, Joseph Wainaina, Catherine Wanjira, the late Francis Mute, Anne Gathoni and David Ndung’u.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Father’s Residence – Thiong’o Road (NITD) from 6.00 p.m. for burial arrangements.

The Cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday, 31st March, 2017 at 9:00am for a funeral service at St. Michael Jikaze Catholic Church, Otiende, and thereafter proceed for burial at Lang’ata Cemetery at 12.00 noon.
