It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Lilian Syokau which occurred on Thursday 10th September 2020.

Beloved daughter of Regina Muthoni Kameru and Christopher Muithya Kiema, loving sister of Ivy Wanjiku, sister-in-law of Daniel Kimita, William Kibui and Cathy Kibui, niece of Delphin Wambugu, Phillip Wachira, the late Augustine Mathenge, Pauline Wachira, Jane Mathenge, Jane Wambugu, Gabriel Kiilu, John, Dominic, George,Alex, Gilbert among others. Loving aunt of Natasha Muthoni, Jayden Kibui and Malik Kameru. Granddaughter of the late Gabriel Kameru, the lateTeresa Kameru, late Gregory Kiema and Marietta Syokau. Cousin of Brian Wachira, Wanjiku Mathenge, Wanjiku Wachira, Hempstone Mathenge, Lincoln Kameru, Eliud Maina amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial preparations at Jacaranda Gardens along Kamiti Rd. Due to C-19 restrictions, we urge friends and family to observe the Government regulations on social distancing, wearing of masks and hand sanitizing.

The burial ceremony will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 at Karima Village, Othaya, Nyeri County. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home along Thika Rd at 07.00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at Karima Catholic Church at 11.00 AM thereafter the burial will take place at their Karima home.

Kenneth Rono Mutai

Born: 6th June 1978 – Sunset: 10th Sept 2020

We regret to announce the death of Kenneth Rono Mutai which occurred on 10th September 2020 through a tragic road accident.

Beloved son of Mr. Joel Mutai and Alice Mutai of Chesingoro viliage, Ch’emosot ward, Bureti Sub counry, Kericho Counry. He was the grandson of the late Pastor Ezekiel and Rachel Kelelyo. Brother to Janet, Betty, Caroline, Micah and Dave. He was a brother in law to the Late Fred Ronoh, Geoffrey Korir, Vincent Korir and Sarah Ronoh. He was an uncle, nephew, cousin and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Lazarus funeral home on Saturday 19th September 2020 at 8 a.m for Funeral Service and Burial on the same day in his home Chesingoro village (Sunshine School Litein) as from 10 a.m.

Son of Ng’otiek Ololong’urro and Mayiamei Kaseenji Kimiti. Husband of Phyllis Seleina. Father of Richard Magilu, Shadrack Shunet, Sharon Shipai, Timothy Kantet, Jessy Kipamet, Sylvia Sian. Brother of the late Masei Mukenka, late William Kisakui, Noah Kikardi, late Lucy Yiakate, Mary Sinkiyian, Henry Turere, Faith Metian, late Melton Moinket among others. Grandfather to Franklin Kores, Melvin Munyaanyi, Abegail Sinkiyian, Celine Seleina, Auden Peahi, Jordan Peahi, Tatiana Napais, Theresa Natasha, Liorah Yiamat, Annah Seleina, Evan Yiamei.

Burial ceremony will be held on Friday, 18th September 2020 at his home grounds at lIng’osuani village, Kajiado East Sub County, Kajiado County

Father of the late Jeremiah Kitavi, Dr Joseph Mbithi, Bonface Mutuku, Josephine Kasyoka, the late Daniel Kyulu, Benjamin Mumo, the late Dominic Kioko and Judith Kirayan. Brother of the late Sammy Makau, late Katio Mutua, Philiph Mutuma, the late Nziva Ndolo, the late Kalekye Muli and the late Mukami Muli. Father-in-law of Regina Kitavi, Beatrice Mbithi, Joseph Kasyoka, Elizabeth Mutuku, Regina Mumo, Rose Kioko, and Stephen Kirayan. Grand-father of Catherine Nyiva, Damaris Mbithe, Stephen Muoki, Jane Mueni, Michael Kivilu, Kioko mbithi, Everlyne Mumbe, Mbula Mutuku, Tony Muthoka, Carol Nthenya, Mercy Nthuka, Lawrence Mukiti, Bon Wambua, Susan Mwikali, Angela Syombua, Blessing Susan, Sherry Netipei, Tizzyan Naisianoi, Prince Natanya. He had six great grandchildren and was uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Kyangombe Village and at his son’s home in Machakos at Manza village. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions we urge family and friends to observe the government regulations on social distancing, wearing masks and washing of hands.

Auntie to Ryan Muchemi, Gift., Joseph and others. Niece and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home Nairobi, on Friday 18th Sept 2020 at 11:00 AM and thereafter to Eldoret and the burial will take place on 19th Sept 2020 at her final resting place Jua Kali Eldoret.
