It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Evanson Ng’ang’a Karanja of Gitaru, Kikuyu.

Son of the late Charles Karanja Mwaniki and the late Peninah Njeri Karanja. Beloved husband of Charity Mwende Ng’ang’a and cherished father of Charles Karanja Ng’ang’a, Peter Muia Ng’ang’a and Gidraph Mwaniki Ng’ang’a. Brother of Hildah Njoki Kariuki, Gidraph Mwaniki Karanja, Samuel Kinyoro Karanja, David Githua Karanja, Beth Wanjiku Karanja, the late Nancy Gathoni Kimachia, and Lucy Wanjiru Githinji. Brother in law of Joseph Kariuki Murimi, Lucy Wanjiku Mwaniki, Ann Njeri Kinyoro, Nancy Njoki Githua, Kimachia Itotia, Githinji Njau, Eric Muia, Kennedy Muia, Martin Muia, Martias Makau Muia, Dorothy Muia, and Minoo.

Family and friends are meeting at his home for prayers and burial arrangements at Gitaru, Kikuyu.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital on Thursday 17th September 2020 at 9.00 am for funeral service and internment at PCEA Kikuyu Cemetery next to Alliance Girls.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Esther Njambi Maina on Thursday 10, September 2020 while undergoing treatment at Nyeri PGH.

Wife of Waikwa Maina of Nation Media Group and mother of Eutycas Muchiri and John Ndirangu. Daughter of Ann Wangui Munyiri and sister of Teresa Wanjiru. She is daughter in-law of Lucy Wambui Waikwa and sister in law of Ann Waikwa of Nyeri PGH, the late Lydiah Nyawira, Eutycas Muchiri of Radio Africa, Nancy Muthoni, Mercy Wanjiku, Charles Wambugu and Stephen Wachira. Aunty of Purity Wambui of Direct Line Bidan Muchiri, Lucy Wambui, Michelle Wambui, Asa Muchiri, Abigail Wangari, Eutycas Mwangs, Maina Mwangi, Njeri Mwangi, James Kamotho, Esther Wambui among others.

The cortege leaves Nyeri PGH Motuary on Thursday 17 September at 7am for funeral at Umoja Mbuyu village, Leshau Pondo Ward, Ndaragua Constituency, Nyandarua County.

Esther you were always there to brighten the lives of others, you proudly served your family, Church and the community.

We regret to announce the demise of Eng. George Mwangi Kibiru of Buruburu Phase 4, that occurred on Sunday 13th September 2020 at Avenue Hospital Nairobi. George hails from Kiamuya Village, Chinga Location, Othaya Sub County, Nyeri County. Formerly of the Meteorological Department and Ministry of Energy.

Husband to Hannah Murugi Mwangi, son of the late Kibiru Gathenya and Grace Wangeci. Father to Kevin Kibiru, Bethuel Muturi (Airtel) and Jackson Gathenya (Safaricom). Father-in Law to Sharon ldaya Muturi, Bilha Wanjiru and Florence Wangui. Brother to the Late Susan Karindi, Washington Gathenya (UK), Faith Wakanyi, Lawrence Kanja and the late Patrick Kingori. Grandfather to Malik Mwangi Muturi.

Family members and friends are meeting at the deceased home in Buru Buru Phase 4, for the funeral arrangements.

The body leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home, Thika Road Nairobi for Burial at 7:00 am, on Tuesday 22nd September 2020.

The Burial will take place at his Othaya home, Ruruguti Farm, a few kilometers from Othaya Town.

Sister of Salina, Bolt, Kiplagat, Chepkosgei, Chematia, Kiprokich and Cheruto. Mother-in-law of Caroline and Faith. Sister-In-law of the late Caroline, the late Esther, Michael and Luka Daughter-in-law of Kiplagat Kipsabit Ego and the late Kimoi Kiplagat. Grandmother of Hazel, Abby, Vivian, Vinesiha, Jepkoech, Cyprian, Banton, Lenos, Dennis, Sherilly, Chumbaa and Chebet.

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital funeral home, today, Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 8am for requiem mass at A.C. K St. Thomas Cheboiywo.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Thursday 17th September 2020 at her home Cheboiywo, Moi University, Kesses, Uasin Gishu County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Catherine Mbaire Ndirangu that occurred on Saturday 12th September 2020. She was a teacher at St. Peters Girls Day Elburgon.

Wife of Stephen Njoroge (Singleboy). Daughter of the late Daniel Ndirangu Kifara and the late Saratina Wambui Kifara. Mother of Daniel Ndirangu and Sospeter Kairu. Sister of Mary Wairimu, Gachui, Wangeci, Wanjira,Wangari, Githuki, Wanjiru, Waithera, Njogu, Njoki and the late Mugi. Aunty of Mwangi (USA), Caroline, Gachui, Dennis and many others. Grandmother of Stephen Njoroge and Catherine Mbaire.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their residence in Elburgon Matuiku for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves P.N.N Ngari Funeral home Nakuru on Friday 18th September 2020 at 8.30am for funeral service and burial at her Elburgon Nyakiambi, Karunga Farm on the same day.

Uncle, cousin and great grandfather of many.

Mother- in law of Felistus, Magdalene and the late John. Grandma of Charlie, Ann, Lilian, Pendo, Peter, Diana, Daniella, Sterling Yen, Kyalo, Karen, Grace, Moses, among others. Sister of the late Samuel Mbuvi, Henriettah Mutave, the late Steven Mati, Jasper Katuta, among others. Sister-in-law of the late Zainabu Kako, the late Fatuma Kanga, the late Nzana Luku, the late Mbeti Kikoi, the late Kako and Regina Kikoi Kitheka. Your jolly and loving character was an inspiration to many. We will dearly miss you.

20th May 1982 – 9th September 2020

It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sebastian Wahome Kibicho of Safaricom PLC who passed away on 9th September 2020 at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.

Beloved husband of Faith Mutuku. Loving father of Natasha Wambui, the Late Adrian Kibicho, Fortune Mutuku and Jewel Mbeke. Son of the late Jeremiah Kibicho Wahome and Mama Jane Wambui. His siblings are Virginiah Kibicho and Pharos Muhia. Son-in-law of the late Norman Mutuku and Loise Mbeke. He was brother,in-law of Ernest Omondl, Lucy Muhia, Ruth Mutuku, Joy, Emmanuel and Steve. Nephew of Rose, Ports, Joyce Wahome, Phyllis Wahome, Amos, the late Nduta, Peter, Sammy and many others. He was uncle of Kelsey, Garvey, Renata, Jeremiah, Blessing, Eliana and many more.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 8:00 am. Burial will take place at his Father’s home on the same day at Kiangwaci, Gacharu Sub Location, Kirinyaga West District, Klrinyaga County.
