Son of Atanasio Gakure and Lucy Wangui (both deceased) and a stepson to Regina Wambui. Husband to the late Mary Wanjiku and Father to Harrison Gakure (JKUAT), Eliud Wanjau (KU),the late Wilson Githinji, Lucy Wangui (Formerly MediaMax), the late Agnes Muthoni and beloved John Wachira. Father-in-law to Hellen Mwihaki Gakure, Teresa Muthonj Wanjauand John Karanja. Grandfather to Mary Gakure, Nelson Gachuhi, Maxwell Wanjohi, Mary Wanjau, Cecilia Wakarima,Lucy Wangui, Ashley Wanjiru, Romano Karanja, Benedict Gachuhi and Eric Mwangi. Great grandfather to Shania Muthoni. Brother to the Githinji and Mugiria (both deceased). Step brother to Wangui, Gachuhi, Wanjiru, Mathenge (late), Mugiria, Nyambura, Wangari, Wanjiku and Nderity,

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Gatura village in Mukurwe-ini village and at Gakure’s home in Juja.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 28th August 2020 at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial at Ruruma Village in Gatura, Mukurwe-ini.

Father-in-law of Felista, the late Millicent, Sharon, Florence, Judah, Maureen, Jane, Lilian, Alice, Late Phelister & Janet, Julia and others. Grandfather of George, Paul, Mike, Nelson, Dedan, Ian, Nick, Rose, Janet, Jananga, Flavian, Eddy, Joslyn, Lucas, Risper Sophie, Otieno, David, Mitchell, Josyline, Angel, Tony, Videx, Wendy, John, Hawi and Ramsamora.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 29.08.2020, at his Siger home, West Asembo, Rarieda Sub County, Siaya County.

Terry was the wife of Andrew Ochieng Owuor of Kipeto Energy Plc.  She was mother Erick Noel Otieno Owuor, Janette Fransesca Adhiambo Owuor and Andrea John Onyango Owuor. She was the daughter of Mr. Nelson Mganda Osunga and the Late Janet Meanda of Ndiwo Village, North Yimbo Location, Siaya County. She was the Step daughter of Penina Mpanda. She Was sister to Florence Oburu, Emily Ooko, the Late Erick O Mganda, Joyce Onyango, Sophy Achola, Beldine Onyango, Hellen Owino, the Late Jared Mganda, Davis Mganda, Lucas Okello and Martha.

Sister In law to The Late Edgar Kizito Owuor & Maurine Kizito, Flizabeth Omondi, Michael Oburu, John Qoko, Samuel Onyango, Jeconiah Onyango and Amos Owino. She was cousin In law to Ben Magoha, Winnie and Sarah, John Omondi, Michael Magoha, BritonQwuor, Michael Owuor, Winnie Owuor, Tanya and Richard Owuor. Daughter in Law to the late Jane Onyango Owuor and Grand daughter in law to the Late John Dalmas Owuor Onyango and Winnie Atieno Owuor. Her aunties & aunties in law were Miriam Ombudwe, Peninah, Joel, Alseba, late Jane, Mary, Edwina Magoha and Bertha Owuor. Her uncles & uncles in law are late Obore, Moses Adreph, The late Chief Tiang, Calisto Owuor, Alphonse Qwuor and Fabian Owuor.

Aunty to Antonina Kizito, Bella Kizito, Jane Kizito, Steve, Kevin, Tracy, Verrah, Faith, Willys, Reyno, Rose B, Janet Omondi, Ismael, Jael, Eveline, Sharon, Martin, Janet Onyango, Dave, Winslet and Ashley.

Daughter of Beatrice Wamiru. Loving wife to Francis Ngigi, amazing mother to Eng. Eugene Kariuki/Elizabeth Maina; Ian Wachira; and Nicole Wanjira; and Caring sister to Wamuyu and Wanjiru; in-law to Agnes Kibuchi/John Kibuchi, the Kithigis, and Gacokis; doting aunt, cousin, niece, great friend and confidant to many and most recently a grandmother to Ngigi Jr.

Her adventurous spirit will be missed greatly and her boundless love for her friends and family will remain with us forever more. She will be remembered for her generous and loving spirit, her never-ending kindness and her love of all things outdoor.

There shall be a memorial and celebration service on Friday 28th August 2020 at ACK St. Francis Church, Karen at 2prn.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Saturday 29th August 2020 Nairobi at 9:00 am followed by a private cremation ceremony by the family.

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Wakaba Wokabi. Frank has left behind his loving wife Mary Nduta. His children are Jeremy Wakaba and Wambui, Stephen Muturi and Binta and the late Jacob Kamau and Michelle. Brother of Mary and Watson Murigo, Pat Muturi, Penny and Lawrence Mungai, Joyce and Rev .J. Mwangi (California), Bob and Margaret Wakaba, Annie Wakaba (Atlanta), the late Grace Wakaba, George Wakaba and Julie, Eddie and Jane Kabiru. He was a treasured grandpa of Joy, Levi, Avril Wakaba, Jasmine Kamau, Tatiana, Talyn and Jacob Muturi.

A private family cremation is scheduled for this Wednesday the 26th of August 2020.

A requiem mass will be held on Friday the 28th August 2020 at his home; Bulls head farm, Mayor Crescent off Kibiko road in Ngong Township.
