Hezron Gichuki, whom many will remember as retired Administration Registrar University of Nairobi and former Councillor, Naro Moru Municipal Council was called to his final rest on the evening of 25 April 2020.

Son of Joseph Karuri Gichuki and Evelyn Kirigo Karuri of Munyange Village, Othaya, Nyeri and beloved husband of Teresia Gachambi and the late Alice Nkirote.

Father of two Joseph Karuris, Helen Kirigo, Rebecca Muthoni, Maggie Wanjiru, Evelyn Kirigo, Ian Kiogora and Patrick Mwai. Father-in-law of Paul Davis, Beatrice Waithira, George Kinyanjui, Florah Waithera, Khamis Chome, Beatrice Wanjiru and Annette. Grandfather of Rebecca, Gathoni, David, Marion, Sarah, three Hezrons, Kinyanjui, Maureen, Cynthia, Badi and Terry.

He was the eldest son of 36 siblings. We thank the Lord for his grace and mercy in giving us our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and grandfather for all those years.

He will be laid to rest at his farm in Kikuyu on Wednesday 29 April 2020 after a brief private service at 10:00 am.

It is with a heavy heart, with the humble acceptance of the will of God that we announce the passing of Fredrick Okoth Onim (Fred) which occurred on 17th March 2020 after a short illness, bravely born.

Son of the late Richard Onim Kabach and the late Rose Rebecca Onim of Nyakach Kajimbo. Beloved grandson of the late John Kabach and the late Magdalina Aluoch Kabach (Nyodare) and the late Flora Ajwang’ Kabach of Nyakach Kajimbo. Beloved brother of the Late John Onim, Mark Onim (REM Insurance), Bernard Onim (Safaricom PLC), Nicholas Onim, Eveline Onim and Maurice Onim. Brother-in-law of Patricia Onyango, Alice Odhiambo, Linda Otieno among others. Uncle of Stephanie Mahinya, Trinity Rose Atieno and John Paul (JP), Sharleen Onyango, Becky Onyango, Richard Antony, Linet Onyango, Richard Denzel, Aluoch Elsie, Ben Junior and Edwin Omondi among others.

Nephew of Peter Ochieng, late Philip Oyoo, Joshua Ogola, Hosea Ochieng, late Maurice Odare, Gaudensia Obonyo, Ruth Nyapoya, Rehema Mohammed, Caren Arego, Miriam Aoko among others. Stepson of Jacinta Oyoo, Rose Odare, Agnes Anyango and Pamela Ogola among others. Cousin of Samuel Ade Aran, George Okoth, Arthur Okoth, Collins Opondo ,Vincent Odare, Peter Oyoo, Clifford Omondi, Timothy Ochieng, Steve Ogolla, Lameck Arego, Jan Mohammed among others.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary, Nairobi on Friday 1st May 2020 and will be laid to rest on Saturday May 2, 2020 at his home in Nyakach lower Kajimbo, Kolweny stage, Rachier Primary School.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth nor, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38 — 39.

Brother of Francis Thande, the late John Mugwe, the late Virginiah Wanjiru, the late Loise Wanjira, Nelly Ngonyo, the late Paul Njuguna, Margaret Wanjiru and Rachel Muthoni.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 30th April 2020 at 10.00am for burial at Langata Cemetery, Nairobi county.

Son of the late Dedan Ndirangu Kiragu and Monica Wambui Ndirangu. Husband of Elizabeth Njeri of Meru County Referral Hospital. He was son-in law of late Paul Githinji and late Mary Wambui. Father of Monica Wambui (of Nairobi), and Dr. Ndirangu Gitonga of Makindu Subcounty Hospital. Brother of Muringi, Muthoni, Kiragu, Warau, Sr.Angeline Mumbi, the late Wangari, the late Wanjiru, Veronica and George. Brother in law of the late Murage, Ndirangu (Tosh) Ndiritu, the late Muthami,the late Ndiritu, and Maina (Wambicha),Wanjohi, Nderitu, King’ori, Njoki and Wairimu. Uncle and grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Outspan Hospital on Thursday 30th April 2020 at 7.00am. Burial will be held at the family Home in Simbara Sublocation, Shamata Location Nyandarua County on the same day starting from 10.00am.

The burial will take place at her residence in lkutha location, Mutomo Sub-County, Kitui County on Saturday 2nd May 2020 at 1 pm. The prevailing requisite stringent health measures with be observed.

The family remains deeply indebted to all our Relatives, Friends and well wishers who stood by us throughout her illness. We shall forever be grateful for the immense support by those in the WhatsApp group who came to our rescue during our grief and bereavement.
