Daughter of the late Kanuthu Wa Wakanyua and the late Mbeere wa Kanuthu.

Wife of the late Massimiano Chege Kamau. Sister of the late Beth Murugi, Peter Munubi and Charles Mwaura.

Mother of Lucy and George Kamau Buba (Thika), Salome Wambui and Wallace Karanja (Makuyu), Sister Mary Isaac (Immaculate Sisters – Nyeri), late Gregory Kamau and Margaret Wambui, Monica Thingo, Margaret Muthoni and Peter Njuguna, John Murumba and Lucy Njoki (Kajiado), Teresia Wamagu and Anthony Ng’ang’a, late Grace Mumbi, Jacinta Wanjiku and John Kamau (Kagio) and late Susan Wagathugu. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati on 28/04/2020 for burial service at her home in Gakarara Sub Location (Kamurugu) from 10:00 am.

Mum/Cucu in God’s arms you rest and in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in peace. Amen

The late  was born in 1969. She was the fourth born of the late Nduva Nzyuko and Agnes Ndulu Nduva of Kenya Israel Machakos County. Sister to Pauline Mwelu, Joyce Mulwa, Robert Mutetei, Faith Nthike, Fred Nzyuko, Dominic Mulei, Eric Musyoki, Mary Mbithe, and Esther Kalekye.

EDUCATION

Racheal Katunge Joseph joined Township Primary School in 1977 and sat for K.C. P.E in 1984. She later joined Mitaboni Secondary School in the year 1985 and then transferred to Panafric Secondary School in the year 1986. She sat for K.C.S.E in the year 1988 and did her best.

CHRISTIAN LIFE

She received Jesus as her personal saviour and was a teacher to many about the word of God.

CAREER LIFE

She was a business woman pursuing different opportunities as they came.

FAMILY LIFE

She got married in 1990 to Peter Timothy Mullyh. They were blessed with 6 children namely Joshua Wambua, Hellen Mukenyi, The late Emmanuel, Irene Ndulu, Angeline Mutheu and Jemimmah Mueni.

ILLNESS

In 2014 she was diagnosed with bronchitis allergy which led her to be hospitalised in 2016 at Komarock Modern Hospital for 4 days. She recovered fully and was discharged.

Her allergy was manageable thereafter, until two months ago when it started affecting her health due to the cold weather.

On 28th November 2019 she woke up as usual doing her daily chores in the morning, during that process she said she was not able to breathe. She was rushed to hospital where they started treating her but they were not able to. She succumbed to the sickness.

She has left behind a husband, 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

None of us lives to himself and none of us dies to himself if we live we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord, So then whether we live or whether we die we are of the Lord’s.

It is with great sadness that the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Management announces the death of late Simon Waweru Gathumbi, of Turkana Sub-Centre which occurred on 22nd April 2020 at St, Joseph Hospital. The late hailed from Turi Farmers (Kwa Jonah) Village, EIbergon Location, Elbergon Sub-Location of Nakuru County.

Son of the late Francis Gathumbi and Teresiah Wambui, husband of Felister Wanjiru Waweru, father of Francis Gathumbi, Hillary Njenga, Wallicestene Wakaba and Sylvia Warnbui.

Brother of Stephen Wakaba, Joseph Kimani, the late Mary Njeri, Lucy Nyambura, the late Engineer James Waithaka, Dr John Stanley Mwangi of U.S.A, Tabitha Kinyanjui, Julius Kanja. Son-in-law of Hillary Njenga and Philis Wairimu. Brother in-law of Sylvester Ndung’u, Anastasia Nyambura, Vincent Ng’ang’a, Pauline Wambui, Ann Wanjiku, Benedict Ngugi, Benjamin Ngige, Suprian Wanjiru and Francis Muiruri.

The cortege leaves St Joseph mortuary Molo on Saturday for prayers and burial at his residence home Turi farmers (Kwa Jonah) Elbergon.

May God rest his soul in internal peace.

Daughter of the late Wairiuko Muhiu and Esther Warau of Kamacharia Mathioya. Daughter in-law of Justus Mwangi Kaara and the late Mary Mwihaki Mwangi. Sister of Eunice Kibata, Rosalind Wanjiru, Eliud Kariuki, late George Maina, Wilson Kairu, Benson Mwangi, late Anthony Ndonga, Caroline Wahura, and late Lydia Nyambura. Sister in-law of Viola Mumbi Karoki, the late Pauline Maiga Mwangi, Eric Muthama Mwangi, Fredrick Irungu Mwangi and Norah Wangari Mwangi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma/Monalisa funeral home — Kabati on Monday 27th April 2020 for funeral service and burial at their farm in Kaharati (Summary) at 11a.m.

Wife of the late Mzee lsaya Muliru. Mother of George, Jane, Wycliffe, late Adisa, Joyce, Patrick, Rose, late Phanice, Beatrice, Tom, Benson, Juliet and Patroba. Mother in-law of Sypherose, Kagendo, Catherine, Jane, Irene, late Dr. Abugga, Mark, Denis, Likoye and Kwatemba. She has left behind 48 grand children and many great grandchildren.

Mama will be laid to rest on Saturday 25th April 2020 at her home in Shangalangwi village, Shinyalu Sub-county, Kakamega County.

Sister of the late Dr Walter Nyawara, the late Risper Adongo, George Mien, the late Risper Ongaga, the late Margaret Auma and sister-in-law of the late James Orondo, the late William Ongare, the late Hilda Anyango, Josephina Nyawara, the late Habil Ondiek,Mzee Peter Okode and Domtila Sande.

Mother of the late David Okoyo, Emily Midianga, the late Betty Okoyo Amboga, the late Judith Oyaya, the late Juma and Bethwel, Beneah Ogumbo, Dorcas Okoyo Obilo and the late Victoria Awuor, Fred Ogumbo, Dr. Jacob Ongare, Dancun Outa, Washington Awinda, Elizabeth Okode. Mother-in-law of the late Trufena Okoyo, the late James Midianga, the late Erastus Amboga, Enos Oyaya, Lilian Ogumbo, Obilo Obara and John Odera. Mama was blessed with 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave the Kisumu District Hospital Mortuary on 28th April 2020 for burial at her home in Jusa village, South Seme, Kisumu County on the same day.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. Mum we loved you but God loved you most May the almighty God rest your soul In eternal peace.

Wife of Elkanah Maweu Mutuku, mother of Jimmy Kyalo, Carolyn Mwende and Ben Mutua. Mother-in-law of Sheela Mutua. Grand mother of Kyler Mutua, Ivy Kyalo, Kip Mutua and Kodi Mutua.

We celebrate you for the time we shared together. You were diligent, hardworking, social, philosophical and intrinsically a connoisseur. You were practical in all spheres of your life. Your fierce love for your family and your protective-ness of them was exhibited in how practical you were. Your advice and solutions were real, practical and well grounded.

To you Friends and Relatives: We are tremendously grateful for your prayers, visits, calls and Messages. We can’t thank you enough. God bless you.

Funeral service was held yesterday Friday 24/4/2020. Lornah was laid to rest at Bound Brook Cemetery in New Jersey – USA at 12:00 O’Clock (Kenyan time 7pm).

May the Almighty God rest her soul in peace.

Son of the late Samuel and late Rebecca Kimote Mutunga of Tuvilani, Mbooni. Brother of Robert & Francisca, Nzusyo & Maureen, Pastor Josephine Nthoki, Mumo, Francis & Jane, Ndumi & Mustafa. Uncle of Eng. Kalla, Sarafina, Mwongeli, Mutunga, Mwongeli, Joyce, Moses, Ian, Miriam, Amadou, Sam, Victoria, Kelly, Natasha, Sean, Neema and Nelsie. Son-in-law of Peter and late Grace Mumo. Brother-in-law of Naomi & Steve, Caesar & Penis, Shadrack & Joyce.

Nephew of the Late Mutuli, Late Rev Aaron Itumbuthi, Late George & Agnes Kalla, late Sera William, Late Naomi Musilu, Janet Kithuka, among others. Cousin of Wambua, Mutunga, Edna, Musau Musilu, Late Jimmy, Mbeti, Samuel (Shimba Hills) among others.

Following Government restrictions arising from the COVID- 19 Pandemic, the internment will be in accordance to the laid down procedures on Monday 27th April 2020 at his farm in Kikima- Mbooni — Makueni County.

Brother of Mary Syombua, Aliphonce Mutuku, Peter Matheka, (Kalukuni Sec), Tr. Agnes Wambua and Tr. Angeline Wambua. Uncle of Veronica, Stephen, Faith, Joseph, Abigael, Fabian, Hanifa, Abigael, Precious, Scarlett. Son-in-law of Boniface Kanyanga and Josephine Mukii. Grandson of Elizabeth Muoki. Nephew of Robert Mutaka,Veronica Kalungu, Dominic Muoki (DCIO Balambala) among others. Cousin of Maria Nzisa (Seattle USA), Cecilia Uvyu (KPLC), Fr Nicholas (Katoloni) among others.

The burial will be held at his parents farm at lthekethini village, Matuu Yatta Sub-County. The burial is strictly family affair due to current Government directive.
