It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. John Mbugua Waweru (Tunjambu) that occurred on 29th Feb, 2020.

Son of the late Waweru Wathiari and Jane Mwikamba. Husband of the late Esther Njeri Mbugua. Father of David Waweru Mbugua (KitsIe), Peter Wainaina (Lanet), Jane Wanjiru Maim (Ruiru), Mary Gathoni Kimani (Kabatini) and Joseph Wathiari (Nakuru). Father in law of Susan Wanjugu Waweru, Mary Wainaina and Beth Wamaitha Wathiari. Brother of the late Njambi Koigi, Leah Wambui, Racheal Wanpru Kiragu, Hannah Mukuhi Ngethe (Kitale), Ruth Njambi Earnest (Elburgon), the late Wathiari Waweru, Karanja Waweru and Ngigi Waweru. Grandfather of Mbugua’s, Njeri’s and others. Great grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Lanet Nakuru near Lanet Posta from 4pm for prayers and {lateral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on Friday 6th March, 2020 at 8am for funeral service and burial at his farm in Lanet Location near Lanet Police Post on the same day.

Loving daughter of the late Morris Kibui Karangu and Jacinta Wanjiku Kibui of Siron village Marmanet Sister of Anne Wambui Mihari, Agnes Nyambura Mimi, Patricia Nduta Kanja, John Kamau Kibui, Patrick Karangu Kibui and Susan Wairimu Kibui. Sister-in-law of Fred Kibaru, Evan Kanja, George Mimi and Phyllis Wambui. Aunt of Ruth Mihari, Esther Mweu, Francis Mwendwa, Loise Njoroge, Alvine Mimi, Precious Mimi Njoroge Mimi, Kibiru Mimi, Moryne and Wilfred Muchuga, Dennis Kanja, Alex Kanja, Shiku Kamau, Kibui Kamau and Shiru Kamau.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Siron, Marmanet for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Xvi Hospital Mortuary Nyahururu on Saturday 7/03/2020 at 8:00am and thereafter a burial service at her parents’ home in Swan village, Marmanet starting at 11:00am.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing on of Mr Alex Michael Obondo Wanjira (AO/ bang’ wuod Awiti) on 21st February 2020.

Son of the late Lawrence Wanjira and the late Leonida Nyawanda. Beloved husband of Professor Margaret Akinyi Obondo and Pamela Akoko Mbogo. Loving father of June Obondo, Quincy Omondi, Christine Obondo, Susan Obondo, Iris Nyawanda and Hazel Obondo. Brother of Denis Ondeje, the late Ambrose Otieno, Monica Aoko, Albert Oyoo, the late Vincent Osino, James Nyawanda, Edward Okumu, Crispin Obondo and Judith Adhiambo. Grandfather of Adam Wanjira Omondi and jaeda-Amari Lutuka. Son-in-law of the late Enos Otedo and Priska Achola, the fate Jacob Mbogo and Hannah Mbogo. Brother-in-law of Linet Adhiambo Abuya, Robinson Odera Otedo, the late Elsama Okoth,Verina Anyango Odhiambo, the late Jabes Ochieng and Pamela Atieno Oyaro. Judith Olcungu, Jacqueline Mugo, Jane Mbogo, the late Emmanuel Mbogo, Evelyn Atieno and Redempta Mbogo. Uncle of many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brother of Margaret Wanja Ngugi, Joseph Wanyoike Waiyaki, Veronicah Wambui, Hannah Nyokabi, Bosco Kamau Dolla,Alice Njoka, Rosemary Wangui, Francis Hinga, Samuel Wang’ang’a, Andrew Muchugia and Paul Mbatia. Husband of teacher Elizabeth Wambui. Father of Jackson Mwatha, Maryann Wanjiru, Immaculate Wangui and Shirleen Wanjiku.

Family and friends are having daily prayers and meetings for burial preparations at his Ndeiya home. The cortege leaves Tigoni level 4 hospital mortuary on Thursday 5th March 2020 at 9.00am and thereafter burial at his father’s farm in Nguirubi Ndeiya Limuru sub county.
