Rhoda Nafuna Osallo

It is with profound sorrow that we announce he death of Mrs Rhoda Nafuna Osallo, retired teacher, formerly of Makongeni Primary School which occurred on January 11th 2020 after a long battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Ainea Omunasolo and the late Petina Nangira. Loving Wife of Josephat Osallo. Beloved mother of Charles Nakhulo, Victor Awori, Isabell Naliali, Jacqueline Were, the late Paul Ouma and Michael Barasa. Mother-in-law of Tabitha Mukudi, Mary Achieng, Luka Mwangi and Ruth Abundiz. Grandmother of Tasha, Lauren, Destiny, Isabella, Troy, Tyler, Shine, Alison, Ethan and Isaiah amongst others. Sister of Respa Nambandu, the late Joseck Waswa, Jane Techera, the late Selina Musungu, Rebecca Manyasi, Karen Ongeti, Ezina Otsyula and Beatrice Ekaka.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her house in Buruburu for prayers and burial preparations.

Requiem mass will be on January 23rd, 3.00pm at the Blessed Sacrament Church Buruburu. The cortege leaves thereafter for Bukiri, Busia at 6.00pm.

Burial will be on January 25th 2020.

Paula Wanjiku Muchura (Cucu wa Muchura)

We announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Paula Wanjiku Muchura (Cucu wa Muchura) which occurred on 17th January 2020.

Daughter of the late Lazaro Njira-ini and Late Veronica Nyambura. Beloved Wife of the Late Micheal Evans Muchiira.

Mother to the Late Margaret Muthoni, Veronica Nyambura, Joseph Mugwe, Mary Wahito, Ann Theru, Joyce Wamuyu (USA) and Simon Peter Mwangi (Max Touch Beauty Nbi). Mother-in-law to Philip Wambugu, Late Francis Mbuthia, Beatrice Wanjiru, Paul Nganga, Robert Kariuki Kaguongo, Daniel Ngethe and Annleah Wanjiru (Max Touch Beauty Nbi). Grandmother to 21 Grand Children and 27 Great Grand Children.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Norwich Union House, 7th Floor Room no. 3, Simons Thome-Home, Mukuyu Cluster and at her Home Kaheti Village, Matira-ini, Nyeri County.

The body will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Friday 24th January 2020 at 9.00am for funeral service at Matira-ini Catholic Church and thereafter she will be laid to rest at her Matira-ini Home Kaheti Village.

Son of the late Oriosa Ochwangi and Yunes Kemunto of Marindi Village, Bundo Sub-location, Bogichora Location, Nyamira County. Husband of Jane Nyabeta Abuga. Father of Dinah, Robett (USA), Doris, Andrew, David, MacMillan, Clifford and Christabel. Father-in-law of Wanja (USA), Esther, Edinah, George and Douglas. Brother of Abere, Momanyi, Kefa, Venicah, Dinah, Nolyne, the late Masi, Charles and Omenge. Grandfather of Rawlings (Australia), Ogutu, Brenda, Leon (USA), Zahra (USA), Adams, Brandon, Nyamagwa, Magdalene, Abuga, Bonface, Valencia and Leslie. Great grandfather of April.

The cortege leaves Kisii Level 6 Mortuary on Thursday 23/01/2020- for burial thereafter on Friday 24/01/2020 at his home in Marindi village, Bundo Sub-location, Nyamira County.

Brother of the late Githiru, the late Kabue, Wanjiru, Rachel (USA) and Wachira. Father-in-law of Sabina, Lydia, Gichangi and Ngure. Grandfather of Nyawira, Rosaline, Davis, Rachel, Wanjiru, Elsalisa, Mwangi, Jessica, Mark, Andy, Angel and Blessing. Step brother of the late Wanjiku, Josphat, the late Muthoni and Njiraini. Son-in-law of the late Richard Nyaga and Faith Kabuthi.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Lutheran Church opposite St Paul’s University Chapel and at home, Karla Village.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt Kenya mortuary on 24/01/2020 at 9 am and thereafter burial will take place at his home in Karia Village, Kirunda sub location, Mutira location, Kirinyaga County.

Sister of Winnie Njambi, Teresiah Wakonyo, Peninah Njeri, Florence Njeri, Margaret Wanjeri, John Kang’ethe and Solomon Kinuthia.

The cortege leaves Nazareth hospital on 24/01/2020 at 8am followed by church service at A.C.K St. James Tiikaya starting from 11am. She will be laid to rest at her husband’s home in Njiku, Ngungugu near Muthurwa Orthodox church, Kiambu County.

Loving wife of Benaiah Bulimu Wakukha. Beloved daughter of the late James Musoga Muhembi and the late Mama Rachel Tsimbaliga Musoga of lbwichina Ivakale. Sister of Beatrice, Mable, Joyce, Wilson, Geoffrey and Everline (Musogas). Mother of Christopher Alusa, Dickson Wakukha, Sharon Tsimbaliga, Edith Mutonyi and Lydia Musiya. Daughter-in-law of the late Lazaro Wakukha and the late Mama Rhoda Wakukha of Buchetsi Kambiri. Mother-in-law of Dilector, Eunice and Quinton. Grandmother of Peter, Griffin, Margaret Busihili Gracelyne, Gratiano, Kendra, Ethan, Shannel and Trina. Cortege leaves Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 23/01/2020 at 11.00 a.m.

Requiem service and burial will be held on Saturday 25/01/2020 at her home, Lusero Village (Kambi ya Mwanza) Buyangu sub-location, Kakamega County.

Body leaves MTRH mortuary on Wednesday 22/01/2010. Burial will take place on Thursday 23/01/2020 at his home Kikormon village, Boi sublocatipn, Kibwareng location, Aldai Constituency Nandi County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jane Njoki Kariuki of Oraimutia Settlement Scheme, Nyandarua County. She was admitted to the Coptic Mission Hospital in Nairobi and succumbed to illness on 18th January, 2020.

Daughter of the Late Kariuki wa Mburu and Late Nelly Wanjiku wa Kariuki. Mother of Johanah Mbugua, Mary Wairimu, Nelly Wanjiku, Duncan Gitau (Nyandarua Boarding Pry School), Faith Wangari, Purity Wacera d Perpetua Nyambura. Sister of S.M. Kariuki (VEFIS Insurance Brokers Ltd; Panari Hotels), D.N. Kariuki (SOLEDO Co. Ltd), Faith W. Kariuki (Sacred Ark Ministry), P. M . Kariuki (Kenya Forest Service), R.M. Kariuki (Texas, USA) and Roselyn W. Kariuki (Sacred Ark Ministry). Mother in-law of Eliud Ng’ang’a of Ndumberi, Kiambu. Grandmother to many.
