Wife of the late Moses Muturi Mbugua. Daughter of the late Wilson Ndonga and late Miriam Wanjiku Ndonga. Mother of Hellen Wangui Muturi, Wairimu Lengewa, Mercy Wambui Kamau, Mbugua Muturi (Mkulima) and Peter K. Muturi. Sister of Jacinta Mumbi Gachiengo, Margaret Wanjiru, Grace Nyakairo and Jane Wambui Mwema. Grandmother of Dr. Charity Wambui Sundoi (MTRH Eldoret), Rosemary Wairimu among others. Great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at 4.00pm daily at her home in Kiamunyi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary-Nakuru on Tuesday 28th January, 2020 at 8.30am. Funeral service and interment will be at her home in Kiamunyi from 10.00am.

Mzee’s body lies at the Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary in Kisumu. Friends and relatives are meeting at his Residence in Park View Estate, South C House 47 in Nairobi and at his rural home in Katinda Village, Oyugis Sikri Centre, Kasipul division— Homa Bay County.

Harambee will be conducted on 4th of February 2020 at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5pm.

The burial takes place on the 7th of February 2020 at Katinda Village, East Kamagak Location, Kasipul Division, Sikri Centre.
