Daughter of the late Nahashon Gichohi and the late Josephine Nyarumbwa. Wife of Retired Rev. Stephen Kimani Kagacha. Sister of Racheal Njeri Walter (Kikuyu), Martin Mwaura Gichohi (Riabai), Martha Wangarir Njuguna (Naivasha), Geoffrey Githinji (Kahawa), Joyce Nge’ndo Gikonyo (USA), Stephen Kimani Gichohi (USA), John Ciira Gichohi (USA), Sarah Muthoni (USA) and Emily Wanjiru (USA). Mother of John Kagacha (USA), Mary Wanjiru Mutisya (Kaguku), David Gichohi (Kiambu), Ben Ndung’u (ABLOY), Catherine Nyarumbwa Ndaiga (Kiawanjugu), Millicent Muthoni Njoroge (USA) and Racheal Njeri (Juja).

Mother-in-law of Sarah Kagacha, Jane Gichohi and Mary Ndung’u. Sister-in-love of Bishop Mutisya, James Ndaiga and the late Patrick Njoroge. Grandmother of the late Robert K. Kagacha, Tom Kagacha, Edith Njoki, Irene Wairimu, Edith Ndung’u, Stephen K. Ndung’u, Elsie Ndung’u, Lilian W. Ndaiga,Alex M. Ndaiga and Jeremiah M. Mutisya. She is also an aunt of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Gatuikira Village, Ruiru – Mugutha and Kiambu St. Pauls Church.

The cortege will leave Monalisa & Montenzuma Funeral Home Thika Road on Saturday 14th September 2019, at 8:00am and the funeral service will follow at Mairungi Primary School – Kariti starting from 10:30am and thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her home village Gatuikira.

God gave us Mwalimu Edith Njoki Kimani and God took her. May His name be glorified. Amen!

Daughter of the late Samwel M’Mieri and the late Gladys Ciamatumo and the late Jesca Ciankui. Sister of Evangaline Severino, Priscilla Mutegi, the late Eustance Mbuba, Evelyne Kagendo, Jack Gitari and Kageni Gitonga. Step-Sister of Juliet Mbaka. Mother of Gitonga Mbaka (County Director, MoE Uasin Gishu), Kanyua Paul (Judiciary Runyenjes), William Muriithi, Jamleck Kirimi (Egoji,TTC), John Mwiti & Gatakaa David. Grandmother of Esther, Mawira, Joy, Mwende, Kawira, among others. Mother-in-law of Colestikar, Paul, Gatakaa, Karimi,Wanja and David.

Wife of Patrick Kimutai Chelimo and loving mother of Evans Kiprotich and Immaculate Jerono. Sister of Emmy, Regina, Ben, Constantine, Isabella, Pauline, Virginia, Micah, Gladys, John, Abraham, Margaret, Timothy and Caroline. She was in-law of Felix, Paul, Agnes, Lydia, Grace, Peter, Salome, Caroline, Pauline, Barnaba, Jessica, Mathew, Agnes and Mercy.

The cortege leaves !ten County Referral Hospital on Thursday 12th September 2019 at 12.00pm for requiem mass at Chelalang Catholic Church starting from 2.00pm and thereafter the body will be taken to her residence at Chembulet for viewing and overnight vigil.

The burial will be on Friday 13th September 2019 starting at 9.30am at their parents home, Kimoning-Seiyo village.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 13th September for funeral service and burial at her son’s farm, in Mairo-Inya Nyahururu.
