Rev. Stephen Ndung’u Thirikwa Muraya

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rev Stephen Ndung’u Thirikwa Muraya, following a short illness.

For a long time, he was the pastor of A.I.C Kahuho and other churches in Ol’kalou D.C.C and currently was in A.I.C Mau Summit D.C.C.

Son of the late Mr & Mrs Muraya of Gachwe Village, Munyeki Location, Nyandarua Central Sub-County (Ol’kalou).

Husband of Beatrice Njeri Ndung’u. Father of Phanuel, Joy and Arvin.

There will be a memorial service at his home near Gachwe Primary School on Tuesday 6/8/2019 and thereafter fundraising to offset the hospital bill.

Funeral and burial service will be held on Thursday 8/8/2019 at his home.

Mother-in-law of Florida Jaika, Violet Kegode, Judy. Kibisu, late Josephine Maleya, Dishion Achilla, Walter Mangale, Elvis Ochieng’, David Kapten and Fred Wafula.

Grandmother of Ince Marvin, Kevin, Dan, Noela, Roy, Cidel, Lyn, Alwyin, Quintet-, Flavia, Sophia Elsie, Titus, Dorothy, Mildred, Michele, Carol, Victoria Merab, Dalima, Zakoyo, Nalel, Emmanuel, Keith and Mellen. 

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary on 8th August 2019 at 10.00am.

Burial will be at her home in Likuyani Sub-county, Sango Sub-location, Lukusi Village on Saturday 10th August 2019 starting at 9.00am.

Loving brother of Stephen Waciuri, Charity Wangui, die late Ruguru, Rose Wambui and Julius Karimi.

Father in law of the late John Vitisia. Brother in law of George Kunina, Gathoni, John Kibe, Ngina, Njambi, Nyambura, Wanjiru, Hannah Wachiuri, the late Mr Maathai, Mr Eliud Gathuru, Sarah Karimi. He was uncle of many.

Family and friends are meet meeting daily at Norwich Union, CBD, and his Ruai home from 5.30 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 8th August at 8.00 am for the funeral service that will be held at his upcountry home in Gatugi, Othaya, Nyeri county.
