We announce the passing on of Rose Chepkurui Koskei (Qwetu Contractors Limited), which occurred on Monday 05/08/2019 at Alexandria Cancer Nakuru, after long battle with cancer.

A loving wife of Samwel Mitei of Kericho County, Ainamoi Subcounty, Cheplil Village. She is survived by three children namely Elton Kibet, Loreen Cheptoo and Enock Kimutai. Daughter of Vincent Koskei and Christine Koskei of Bomet County, Sotik. Sister of Irene, Betty (UK), Walter, Janet, Gladys, Lily, the late Robert, Sammy Dennis and Sheila. In-law of Recho Chumo, Ruth Bett and Jane Cheruiyot.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Bontana Hotel Nakuru, Kiamunyi Home Estate and at Cheplil Village Ainamoi.

The fundraising will be held on Tuesday 13/08/2019 at Bontana Hotel Nakuru and at home village Cheplil Ainamoi as from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary, on Thursday 9/2019 and proceed to home Kericho for burial on Friday 16/08/2019.

Son-in-law of the late Washington Baru, Muthoniwa of Mr Ng’ang’a and Prof. Zipporah Ng’ang’a, the late John Njoroge and Mrs Mercy Njoroge.

Brother of Joyce Pharis, the late Joyce Wanjiru, Eric Karanja, James Kabugi, Mary Wambui, Samuel Mbogo, Paul Mburu, Esther Mathaiya, Titus Kimani, David Ng’ang’a, Simon Mugo, Daniel Mwaura, Beth Wanjiku, Ruth Njeri, Joshua Chege, George Kamau, Margaret Wangari, Joyce Wanjiru, Phyllis Waithira, Samuel Mbogo, Ruth Wangui and Simon Mugo. A brother-in-law of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Nairobi home and Kin’guri, Gatanga.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 13th August, 2019 at 7.00am for burial at his rural home in King’uri village.

The cortege leaves Fort Florence Hospital Mortuary on Friday, August 16th, 2019 for a requiem mass at St. James Asol Anglican Church followed by an overnight stay at her home.

Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday 14th August, 2019 at the family farm Kipkarren Selia.

Daughter of Stephen Wachira Muriuki and Tabitha Nyakio Wachira. Sister of Jerusha Njeri, Grace Muthoni and David Muriuki. Aunt of the late Hope Lucy and Celine Nyakio. Cousin of Wambui, Charles Chege, Jerusha, David and others and a friend to many.

Family and friends have been meeting daily at 5.30pm for prayers in Nairobi at Joyfred chambers and at her home in Karatina.

The cortege leaves Jamii Nursing Home, Karatina on 12/08/2019 at 8.00am and proceed to ACK Church, Karatina at 10.00am and thereafter the funeral will be held at her home in Kangocho village, Karatina, on the same day.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Dr Sobbie Apungu Zebedee Mulindi on Tuesday, 6th August, 2019 at the Aga Khan University Hospital, after a long battle with cancer bravely fought.

Son of the late David M’mbwanga Mulindi and Rosalina Ajando Mulindi. Brother of Prof Henry Mulindi, the late Mary Arkle, the late Seth Mulindi, Luzili R. Mulindi-King, Margaret Mulindi, the late Luke Mulindi, Betty Mulindi. Half-brother of Isaac Mulindi, Bernard L. Mulindi and Bernard M. Mulindi.

Loving husband of Beatrice Shirekuli Mulindi. Father of Lorna Mulindi, Henry Mulindi, Julie Mulindi and Christine Mulindi. Treasured uncle, grandfather, colleague, teacher and friend to many.
