It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Cecilia Wambui Macharia of State Department of Petroleum, Ministry of Energy and Petroleum which occurred on Saturday, 6th April 2024 through a tragic road accident at Kambiti area along Nyeri-Nairobi Highway.

She was a dear wife of Stephen Gichira Mathia. Loving mother of Collen Wanjiku Gichira and Cyrus Mathia Gichira.

Daughter of Mr.Anthony Macharia Gichamba and Mrs. Margaret Nduta Macharia of Matanya Village-Nanyuki. She was daughter-in-law of the late Cyrus Mathia Mutiga and the late Josephine Wamarwa of Kiunga, Kagio

Sister of Mercelina Wanjiku, Philip Wahome, Lucy Wangui, Jeremano Kahunyo, Jecinta Nyambura, Luke Muturi and the late Margaret Nyambura.

Sister-in-law of Margaret Wangu, Julius Kinyua, Elizabech Kinyua, the late Nancy Muthoni, John Murage, the late William Waweru, Mercy Wanjeri, Joel Mureithi, Lucy Njeri, Lilian Wanjiku, Susan Wangechi, Moses Ndubai, Monicah Wambui and the late Gladys Wanja.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Ruiru, Kimbo and Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road from 6.00pm for burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Service on Friday, 19th April 2024 at 7:00 a.m. The funeral Service will take place at her rural home in Kiunga Village, Mutithi location, Mwea west sub-county, Kirinyaga County

Son of the late Musau Muithya and the late Naomi Muthio.

Beloved husband of Regina Musyoki. Father of Daniel Ndolo, the late Maxwell Musau, Catherine Mueni and Erastus Maithya.

Brother of the late Elizabeth Muia and John Musau. Step-brother of Daniel, Joshua, the late Simon Muthuka, Patricia, Lucia, Joyce, the late Francis, Nancy and Bernice.

He was Father in law of Mirriam Mwende and Joseph Kyalo. Grandfather of Raymond, Melody, Richie, Natalia. Cousin and Uncle of Many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalissa Machakos on Friday 19th April 2024 for Funeral service on the same day at his Home in Uvaini Village, Embui sub-location Mwala Sub county.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mzee Joseph Lyndon Otieno Rombo Alias “Ombuya” peacefully departed from this world on 25th March 2024, after a brief illness.

He is son of the Late Mzee Charles Rombo Oliech and the Late mama Jennifer Awuor Rombo. He was the stepson of the Late Julia and the Late Rosa Abongo. Brother of Late Ouko Rombo, the Late Pande Rombo, Hellen Haggai and the Late Robert Oliech. Son-in-law of the Late mzee Walter Arum “Jowl” and late mama Lorna Arum of Ugenya, Simerro.

Joseph was a beloved husband of Elizabeth Alice Otieno. Father of Felix Rombo, the late June Otieno, Kelvin Rombo, John Otieno Rombo, Catherine Otieno and Brian Otieno. He was Grandfather of Karl, Benjamin, Abby, David, CJ, Jeremy, Ryan, Nessy, Micheala and Sophia. Great grandfather of Amaya.

He was an uncle of Emma, Dorothy, Meli, Charlie Ouko, Charles Rombo, Ouko, Laureen, Eve and Elizabeth Oliech. He was a father-in-law of Millicent Osoo, Anne Abwom and others.

Family and friends are gathering daily at his home (Ombuya) in Nyahera- Karombo Kisumu.

There will be a fundraising on 16th April, starting 4.00pm 2024 at the same location.

The cortege will leave Avenue Hospital Kisumu on Friday, 19th April, 2024 for a service at St.Steven’s Cathedral, Millimani, Kisumu at 12.00pm. Thereafter for an overnight stay at the family home in Nyahera, Kisumu. A funeral service will be held on 20/4/2024 at Ogada School in Nyahera, Kisumu.

Though his physical journey has ended, Joseph will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with his love, wisdom, and eternal light.

Rest in Peace, BABA. You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will live in our hearts.

Sister of Gilbert Winja, the late Fanuel Oloo, the late Micah, the late Walter, Margaret Aloo, the late Alice Wamani, Rose Otieno, the late Jane Akinyi, the late Lilian Oloo, the late Zebedi Oloo, Titus Oloo and Jemimah Oloo.

Mother in-law of; Calvin Ligunya (UK), Vickie Marion Masa (Ksm) and Elizabeth Tuzo Omondi (Nbi).

Grandmother of Joseph Mevick Masa, Esther Joy, Joephen, Junior, Janross, Jayden and William.

The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary on 18th April, 2024, at 8.00AM, for a stop-over at her residence in Kondele (Ksm).

After which, there will be a Funeral Service at the New St. Stephen’s Cathedral-Kisumu, from 10.00AM.

The Burial Service will take place on Friday, 19th April, 2024 at Ayiengo Primary School, Kabondo, Homa-Bay County, from 9.00A.M.

Thereafter, her remains will be interred at her home in Ayiengo Village.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Macharia King’ori which occurred on 13th April 2024 in Nairobi. He was a KTDA Farmers Company Director and a former long serving employee of KTDA Management Services Ltd Head Office.

He was the son of the late Bethwel King’ori and late Sarah Muthoni King’ori. He was brother of Isaac Murage, Daniel Muondu, Samuel Kihara, the late Mary wangari and the late Margaret Wairimu.

He was the loving husband of Eunice Thuguri, father of Mercy Macharia, Shelmith Macharia, Catherine Macharia and Janet Macharia. He was Grandpa of Nayla Eunice Thuguri wangui and Gianna Mirea Wairimu.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at PCEA Unity church Umoja 2 Nairobi and his Othaya residence from 7:00PM.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, 18th April 2024 at 4:00PM at PCEA Unity Church Umoja 2.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday, 19th April, 2024 at 7:00AM and thereafter burial service will take place at Gathumbi Secondary School grounds. He will then be laid to rest in his home at Kihungi Village, Othaya.

We the Munikah family thank the Almighty God for the years of life on Earth that He favoured and graced us with our dear Simon James Okwama Munikah “MCA”.

Though with heavy hearts, yet accepting the Will of the Almighty God, we accept to announce the transition of our beloved Simon on Tuesday 9th April 2024, while on the family farm in Kitale, Bikeke, Waitaluk, Trans-Nzoia County, Kenya.

Simon was father of Godly Okenye Munikah. He was the first born of Wakili, Samson Masaba Munikah and the late Jewel Grace Ayiemba Munikah. Simon was the eldest brother of Viola Ranginya, Nelly Munikah, the late Timothy Munikah and Christopher Tito Munikah.

He was the uncle of Malaikah and Kindah Ranginya; Osiano, Hiari, Zesita and Tansi Isekengbe, Pendo, Riziki and Jasiri Munikah.

He was half-brother of Emanuel Muna Munikah and a step-brother of Wesley Amulaku Masaba and Stephen Namonywa Munikah.

Simon was a nephew of many, including Raphael Etole, Isabel Anzigale, Felidah Andeyo Esemele, Alice Okaya Musundi, the lates, James Ombima Munikah, Joseph Otuchi and Cornelius Munikah (paternal); the late Isaya Ombima, and Patrick Otunga, Esther Nyalanga Penina Pwonde and Prisca (maternal).

He was cousin of many, including Sarah, David, Emily, Evelyne, Andrew Otuchi, Robert, Esther, Ruth, Lydiah, Andrew Etole, Margaret, Joyce, Helen, Gideon, Leonidar, Joseph, Bernard, Gladys, Ronald, Collins, Lavender, Arnold, Claire, Michael, Virginia, Graham, DeCosta, Sheila, Andrew Munikah, Lenah, Joseph, Ben and Dorica (paternal); Joyce Ombima, Sherry Asachi. We announce the death of Rtd. RSM.WO]. Peter Amusala, son of the late Albert Nambwaya and the late Melisa Okutoyi, which occurred on 5th April 2024 after a short illness.

He was the husband of Jesca Asiko and father of Lilian Okutoyi, Erick Abuyabo, Moses Khwale, Stephen Nambwaya, the late Leah Anyoso and Emmah Andeyo.

He was the brother of Josephine, Lr. Dorna, Nathan, the late Stanley, Rey. Fridah, Trusillah, Michael, Leonidah and Repher.

Peter served in the military for 35 years and earned the Long Service & Good Conduct (LS&GC) medal. He was
involved in the peacekeeping mission in Sierra Leon (2001 to 2002). He served actively in ACK Mumias Diocese. He was chairman of Abakolwe Council of Elders.

Peter leaves behind 11 grandchildren,

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour on 18th April 2024 for a requiem mass at St. Stephens church Maraba.
He will be buried on Friday, 19″ April 2024 at his home in Maraba Village.

He was the loving husband of Dr. Eunice Kamunge. Father of Winnie and Carol Kamunge.

Brother of the late Ngugi Kamunge, Joseph Kiriiri (Joska), Lucy Wanjiru, Anne Mukami, Esther Warigia, Mary Wambui, George Wainaina of Undire Farm, Margaret Njoki, Josephine Wanjiku and the late Nyambura.
