It is with great humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful passing on of Mrs. Ebisiba Sarange Zephaniah which occurred on Monday 12th August, 2019 at Koniga Farm, lsecha following a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mzee Omao and the late Nyakoboke. Beloved wife of the late Mzee Zephaniah Bosire Abuga and Moibori Omwabo Joyce Kemunto Zephaniah. Loving mother of the late Abuga, the late Teresa, the late John, Makana, Ngare, James (formerly KPA), Nyamumbo (Brisbane, Australia), Bosire (KPA Mombasa & Ekegusii Dictionary), Nyakerario, Mokaya (Oregon, USA). Step-mother of Ndemo, Zipporah, Abuga, Ooga, Moraa, Moseti, Bogonko. Mother-in-law of Isabella, the late Nyandika, Tabitha,Hellena, Gechemba, Veronica, Julia, Margaret (Brisbane, Australia), the late Josephine Bosire, Janet, Esther, Change, Josephine Mokaya (Oregon, USA), among others.

Loving sister of the late Peris Kemunto, the late Saringi Ondieki, the late Omao Omao, Esther Gesare, Jenai, Ibrahim, Mototo among others. Sister-in-law of the late Mayieka, the late Nathan, Rev. Natal Monyoncho among others. Korera of Manyinsa, Nyabei, Ongiri, Maroro, Mochengo, Nyariki, Nyaema, Bwonda, Otwori, Change, Kiage among others. Grandmother of Rev Henry Asuma, Pst Julia Ogeto, Kwambokaderusa, Mokeira, Nyarorego, George, Sama, Grenah, among others. Survived by 10 children, 9 step-children, 61 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 22nd August, 2019 at 3.00pm. Requiem Mass at her farm- Koniga Farms.

Burial ceremony will take place on Friday, the 23rd of August, 2019 at her Manga lsecha home in Gesoko village in Kitutu Chache North.

Beloved wife of the late Mzee Laban Kibirii Njoroge. Daughter of the late Kairu Muchiri and the late Wanjiru Gacibi. Loving mother of Joyce Wanjeri (Kabazi), Grace Njuguna (Ngong), James Njoroge (Naishi-Njoro), Esther Wambui (Elburgon), Peter Muchiri (Naishi-Njoro), Mary Njoki (Nyahururu), Daniel Waithima (OAG, PCEA-Honorary Treasurer), Timothy Gachibi and the late James Kairu.

Mother in law of Regina Njoroge (Naishi-Njoro), Esther Kairu (Naishi-Njoro), Daniel Mwangi (Elburgon), Lucy Waithima (PSC), Ednah Muchiri (Naishi-Njoro), the late Amon Kamau and Isaac Njuguna. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Mukoye Funeral Home in Githunguri on Friday 23rd August 2019 at 8:30am for a funeral service at PCEA Kamburu church, thereafter, burial at her home in Karigi Village.

John De’Mathew Ng’ang’a, legendary Kikuyu benga maestro, dies in horror crash

Husband of Sabina Wairimu John and Carolyne Waithira John. Son of the late Matthew Ng’ang’a Kagai and Lucy Wanjiku Ng’ang’a.

Father of Jane Waithira, Everlyne Wanjiku, Chrissp Kamau, Stecy Wanjiku, Lenny Ng’ang’a, Tyress Thiiru, Wyne Matthew Ng’ang’a Junior.

Brother of Samuel Kiarie, Paul Mbua, Andrew Kagai, Emmah Wambui, Agnes Wanjira David Maina,Evans Mburu, Geoffrey Ndungu (Wakirairu).

Step-brother of the late Francis Kagai, the late Paul Gichiri, Samuel Ng’ang’a, Auria Wanjira and John Ngahu.

There will be a requiem service on Wednesday 21st August, 2019 at ACK St James Church Buruburu starting at 2.00pm.
