It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Mzee Lemire Lolgisoi which occurred on 13th October 2019 at Better Living Hospital, Nairobi.

Son of the Late Larsume Lekuroito and the Late Meikoki Lolgisoi. Husband of Kibaricho Leparkitore and Nang’ichunkop Lokurti. Beloved Father of David, Lilian Lengusuranga, Eric, Jackline, Josphat, Monica Lemasiodo, Saitoti, Simion, Paul, Symon, Margaret, Renson, John, Sophia, Richard and Jeremiak. Brother of Nickson (Formerly TSC), Julius (KWS), Nelorok, the Late Kaplele and Lodomo. He left behind 40 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Monday 21st October 2019 at 7.30am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Lorrok Village, Baringo South Sub-County.

James Mutuankio Michira

We regret to announce the death of James Mutuankio Michira which occurred on 16 October, 2019.

Mzee is survived by his beloved wife Miriam Mwari and their children Kamami, Nkatha, Munene and Kananu (AJ). He was the doting grandfather of Muriithi, Mukami, Kanyiha, Kaume, the late Jayden, Liam and Njambi. Father-in-law to Patrick, Njenga, Kendy and Muhoro.

Mzee was the son of the late Moses M’NaMichira Kimbui and the late Ciabaibaya; Brother of Kaburo, Njilithia, the late Kariithi, the late Kithure, Mitheu, Mwonthea, Mukami, Mutuma, Gacheri, Nkoroi, the late Kaiyera, Kinya, Doris, Mwari, Thuranira, the late Mwika and Mutei. He was the son-in-law to the late Musa M’Ibun’ga and Martha Gaita and brother in law to Rebecca, the late Mbaabu, Mururu, the late Mbati, Kainda, Harriet and Kobia. He was an uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on October 22 and 23, 2019, from 5:30pm.

A funeral service will be held at Kalithiria Methodist Church on Friday, 25 October 2019 from 12:00 noon and he will be laid to rest thereafter at his home in Kalithiria, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of David Ndong’a Jalang’o, which occurred on 18th September, 2019 after a short illness.

Son of Samuel Jalang’o Ndenda and the late Florence Adhiambo Jalang’o. Son-in-law of Zakaria and Petrunala . Osao. Husband of Florence Atieno Osao. Father of Sharon, Ruth, Samuel and Mercy. Brother of Roslyn Muthama, Janet Orwa, Pamela Awendo and Irene jalang’o. His Uncles were Alfred Otieno, Samson Abiero, James Gombe, Peter Onaya and the late Norbert Akeyo. His Aunties were Margaret Akach, Syprosa Gumba, Evelyn Otieno, Teresia Opillu, Margaret Machiala and Rebecca Abiero. Brother-in-law of William Muthama and Robert Awendo.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Baba Dogo, Kasabuni area.

The cortege will leave St. Francis Hospital Mortuary on 19th October, 2019 for overnight vigil and prayers at his home. The cortege will leave Nairobi to Kisumu County, Seme Sub-County, Nyalik Pri School on 20th October, 2019.

The burial ceremony will take place at his home near Nyalik school on 21st October, 2019.
