It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Teachers Service Commission announces the death of Sasaka Titus Ushindi formerly Deputy Head Teacher at Kamuthe Primary School, Garissa which occurred on Monday, 13th January 2020 through a heinous terrorist attack.

Beloved son of Peter Sasaka Nyukuri and Rose Sasaka. Loving husband of Ruth Nyaboke Moinane. Father of Robinson Sasaka Ushindi and Darriel Baraka Ushindi. Brother of Caleb, Frederick, Robert, Sarah, Dorine, Ivone, Esther, Joy and Lavender.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 24th January 2020 at Kiminini sub county, Nakwanga village.

Samson Ogetonto Ombongi

The death has occurred of Samson Ogetonto Ombongi of Riomoro Village. Nyacheki sub-location after a long illness.

Son of the Late Ombongi Ogetonto and Mama Nyaboke Ombongi. Husband of Jennifer Ogetonto, Father of Pravin, Steve and Derick. Brother of Late Ratemo, Late Ndubi, Late Ongori, Nyanchama, Omache, Joseph, Kerubo, Late Elizabeth, Sofia, Late Marcella, Grace, Onserio, Miriam, Osoro, late Tabitha and Mosiria.

Uncle of Dr. Stanley Ratemo, Jeremiah Onsoti, Luke Ongiro, Adv. Josephat Ndubi, Dr. Joash Ongori among others. Cousin of the Maseses, Zachariah Nyapara, Omache Nyang’acha, Wilson Ondieki, Joseph Nyakundi, Peter Omanwa, Late Maina Nyarieko, Kennedy Onsembe, Orang’i Onchari, Dr. Peter Kereri among others. Nephew of Mogaka Nyangoto, Nyamatana Kimang’a, Mogute Masese, Gesare Boto Osebe Samson, the Nyangotos,Atikas among others.

The body is lying at Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary. Burial arrangements will announced later.

There shall be a main fundraising event on Sunday the 26th January 2020 at Maasai Discovery in Kitengela from 3.00pm and on Tuesday the 28th January 2020 at Garden Square from 5.00pm to offset hospital bill and funeral expenses.

Ruth Nguluutu Kimeu

Loving mother of Monicah Nchiani (PGH Nakuru) Joseph Kimeu (Makueni County Hospital Ambulance Services), Rev Justus Kimou (JCC Msa), Celestine Ndemo (Business-lady Nakuru,) Joseline Mayaka (Nakuru county), Justina David (Travellers Hotel Mombasa), Cyrus Ndolo (Mombasa). Sister of the Late Ndeto Mutavi, Mutua Mutuse, Joseph Maweu and Regina Kamula. Grandmother of Muthoki, Nelson, James, Cynthia, Katumbi, Mwema, Wambua, Musyoka, John, Jane, Joshua, Paul and Faith (USA), Steve, Favour, Dorcas, Doris, Doreen, Collins and Ruth. She has left behind 5 great grandchildren.

Daily meetings are being held in Mombasa at Rev Kimeu’s home at Nyali, Salama Estate and at Joseph Kimeu’s Home Utithi-Machinery.

The cortege leaves Pandya Funeral Home on the 24th January 2020 at 5:00pm for burial ceremony service at Kithina primary school grounds, Kasikeu Location, Kilome Subcounty on 25th January 2020 at 1000Hrs.

Loving husband of Veronicah Wanjiku Gakuo and father of Simon Muriuki and Salome Wambui.Brother of the late Joseph Mukubwa, the late Consolata Wanjiku, Mary Nyakaro, Teresia Wangui, George Githii, the late Fr. Geoffrey Muriuki, Paul Mburu, Jane Wairimu, and Lucy Njeri (Nairobi county council). Step brother of Joseph Mukubwa (Wakibui), Consolata Kuria, Gerald Mburu of Kiambu D.O offices, Regina Muthoni and George Githii. Brother in-law of Jack Muriuki Ndegwa and the late Agnes Njeri. In-law of Jennifer Wanjiru, Lucy Wahiga, William Muriithi, Patrick Maina and Milkah Wangui.

The cortege leaves K.U. mortuary on Friday 24th Jan 2020.at 8.00 am and thereafter to a church service and burial at their home in Kiamworia Village- Gatundu South at 11.00 am.

Beloved Mother of Mary Makena, Susan Kajuju, Margeret Karimi, Purity Kananu and the late Faith Kathambi. Sister of Cyprian Mikwa. Sister-in-law of Tarubina, Koome, Kaluai, late Kathure and Tendera. Mother-in-law to Nteere Gitonga. Grandmother of Maureen, Dylan and Taryn.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mr Limiri’s home Kongo Acheke Kisima ward Buuri Sub County Meru County and 1.7 Restaurant Eastern By pass Nairobi from 5.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Meru funeral home on Friday 24th Jan 2020 at 9.00 Am for a funeral service at Buuri Catholic Church in Kisima. Burial will take place at her home in kongo Acheke Ex Iewa.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home Nairobi on Friday 24th January 2020 at 8 AM for her final journey. Kokoo will be laid to rest at her Lekurruki home, Ngong, Kajiado County.
