Father of Aggrey Atonya, Late Abigael Atonya, Robert Atonya (Sadolin) Mary Mugonyua (Chavakali) Edward Atonya (Mwingi) Linnet Atonya (Mumias) Violet Atonya (Kenyatta Hospital) Hellen Atonya (Bushiri High School) Nancy Atonya (Kapsabet Hospital), Grace Atonya (Emailo Primary) Caroline Atonya (APTC Embakasi). Brother of Enos Ngeri (Nyahuhuru) and the late Loise Kabaji.

The cortege leaves Kaimosi Funeral Home on Thursday 17th August 2017. Burial will be on 19th August (Saturday) at his home Kapkangani Location Nandi County.

Husband to Mary Wanjiku and Hannah Nyaguthii. Son of the late Michael Kimanangi and the late Wanjiru Kimanangi. Father of Charles Kung’u, Paul Mwangi, Rose Wanjiru, Lucy Njeri, Jane Janice Wanjiru, Stephen Kimani, James Kimani, John Wainaina, David Kamugu, Beth Waithera, Teresiah Waitherero, Peter Kamugu and Ruth Njeri. Brother of Njeri Dick, Kamugu,Waithera,Wairimu, Mungai (Ngona), Waithaka, Nyambura, Waitherero (wa-waruiru,Ngorika), the late Githua, late Kamau, the late Mburu, late Waitherero, late Muthoni, late Wairimu, late Waithera and the late Mburu Kimanangi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Ndundu, Waiganjo Village next to the Coffee Factory from 3pm to 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday 22nd August 2017 at 8:00am for burial at his home Ndundu, Waiganjo Village, Gatundu South, Kiambu County at 12 noon.

Martin Kibuchi Karienye

 1952 – 16/08/2017  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Martin Kibuchi Karienye who went to be with the Lord on the early morning of 16th August, 2017 while asleep.

Son of the late Cyrus Karienye and the late Sarafina Wanjiru Karienye. Husband of Judy Kibuchi. Father of the late Dickson Murimi, Jackline Nyawira Kibuchi, Jane Wakabari & Sarah Nyawira. Brother of the late Robinson Gakenge, Charles Muriuki, Bernard Karani, Boniface Gathitu, Fredrick Karau, Joseph Nyaga, Thomas Mutugi, Josephine Wanjiku, Robinson Wanjohi, Wanjiku Njogu, Wangu Wanjohi, Wangari Wanjohi, Peter Muchoki. Brother-in-law of Rahab Karienye, Grace Nyaga, Milliam Mutugi, Jane Kathitu, Kanini Karau among others. Father-in-law of Tom Owino. Uncle and grandfather of many.

The family and friends are meeting at his residence in Kariria, Baricho. The requiem service will be held on 22.08.2017 at St. Philips ACK Church, Baricho Kirinyaga County, burial at Kariria Village.

John Nyaendo Onyanyo

 15th May 1962 – 1st Aug 2017

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion of glory of John Nyaendo Onyanyo.

Son of the late Mzee William Onyanyo Oyolo and the late Mama Sabina Onyanyo. Step son of Mama Silibia Onyanyo, Julia Onyanyo and late Lewnora Onyanyo. Husband of Elizabeth Akinyi Oliech. Father of Kevin Nyaendo and Levi Nyaendo. Son-in-law of the late Mzee ‘Zedekiah Oliech and the late mama Jane Oremo. Brother of Maurice Onyanyo, Joyce Ajuang, George Onyanyo, Sally Williams and Polycarp Onyanyo. Nephew of retired Bishop Mzee Justo Onyango Oyolo.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary at 7.00am in the morning on Friday 18th August 2017.The burial will take place on Saturday 19th August, 2017, 10.00am at Uriri Sub-county, Koyieko Village, Migori County.

George Mburu (Kang’ethe) Ng’ang’a

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved dad George Mburu (Kang’ethe) Ng’ang’a. He passed away on 15 August 2017.

He leaves behind his wife, Leah Muthoni; his daughters, Elizabeth Wanjiru Kang’ethe (KEFRI Muguga), Irene Wambui Ndegwa (Kamuguga), Esther Kang’ethe; and his sons, Simon Ng’ang’a (Devkan Industries), Elder Paul Kamau (PCEA Nderi Parish/Baba Train Transport) and Stephen Nyutu (Ruai). Son of the late Ng’ang’a Gitau and Elizabeth Wanjiru. Brother of Hannah Njeri Kamau, the late Esther Kanini and Stephen Nyutu Ng’ang’a.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily from 5.30pm at his home in Muguga Jet Scheme/Ika-lmwe for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 22 August 2017 9.30am for a prayer service at St Mary’s Catholic Church Nguriunditu at 11am. Thereafter burial will follow at his home in Ika-lmwe.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd August at 8am. Burial service will take place on the 24th August at his home in Toro farm, Kitaie

It is with deep sadness and pain that we announce the sudden and mysterious death of Vivian Namukochwe Etakwa on Wednesday 17th may 2017. Mother of Prince Israel.

Daughter of the late Harun Etakwa and Mama Mary Etakwa. Sister of Humphrey, the late Edwin, Newton, Abraham (USA), and Paul. Step sister of Reinny and Robert. It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mark Nduati Charagu (Advocate of the High Court) through a tragic road accident.

Son of the late Michael Charagu and Margaret Mukuhi of Gilgil.

Husband of Angela Njeri of Corporate Insurance Compay. Father of Marvin Charagu, Arthur Kamau, Ketura Mukuhi and Luke Mungai. Brother of Francis Mungai of Kalolwanga, Peter Njongi of Mombasa, Susan Mungai of Numerical Machining and Eunice Kyalo (Business Woman, Nairobi). Son in law of Dr J Kamau and Jerioth Wambui of Githioro. Brother in law of Mrs Bernice Gachegu, Eric Gitau, Jane Gitau, Joel Kamau, Ambassador Jean Kamau, Dick & Linda Kariuki, Dr Jacklynne Kamau, Nelly Kamau, Julliet Mwende and Lenox Kyalo. Cousin, uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Relatives and friends will be meeting at Parkland’s Baptist Church in Westlands on 21st August 2017 at 5.30pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 23rd August 2017 at Holy Family Basilica at 10am.

The burial will be held on Thursday 24th August 2017 in Ndunduri (Mathakwa Shopping Centre) at 11am.

Brother of Elizabeth Arika, Penina Kiroso, David Nyangaresi, Ruth Kwamboka and Josephine Kilasi – Deputy Principal Ngara Girls High School. Uncles include the late Mokamba, Masenya,Obae, isaboke and others, aunts include Mariamu, Bisimba, Nyabame, Ebisiba and others, cousins Ombogo, Kepha Ogembo,Aberi, Omani among others.

Sister of Chege Rubia (Karai Butchery), Mburu Rubia,Wakabura, Rahab (USA), Gichuhi, Wanjiku, Muhuta Rubia, Wanjiru Gitau,Wambui Kimani (Ndugi), Waithira Kioi, Wanjiru Kamunyu, Manyara Rubia, Penina Njoroge, Kinyanjui Rubia and the late Munai, Kamau, Kinyanjui and Kibera.
