It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Josphat Kioko Nthenya of National Bank of Kenya through a tragic road accident. He was from Kikomba village, Muthesya sub location, Masinga sub county, Machakos county.

Son to Janet Nthenya Kaunga, grandson to Clement Kioko and Mary Nyambura.

Husband to Gladys Nyambura Mwangi. Father to Janice Nthenya Kioko and Jeanna Wanjiku Kioko.

Brother to Mary Nyambura and Titus Mutua, brother in law to Tonny Mateng’e, Mark Kiragu, Philip Kibe and Nelly Njeri Njoroge.

Son in law to Lucy Wanjiku Mwangi and Michael Mwangi Kiragu.

Uncle to Ryan Kioko, Tamale Wade, Clarissa Nthenya, Liam Biko, Kingsley Kioko and many others.

He was nephew to Teresia Ng’ondu, Mary Mueni, Rose Mutheu and Joseph Musyoka.

Cousin to Mary Nzilani, Elizabeth Ndulu, Monica Mutinda, late Boniface Kaunga and many others.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kiserian Kajiado county from 4pm.

There will be a memorial service on 1th April, 2024 at CITAM Rongai starting at 10.am.

The cottage leaves montezuma monalisa funeral home Mbagathi Road on 13 April, 2024. The burial will take place at Lang’ata Cemetery in Lang’ata, Nairobi county at 10.am.

He worked at Laikipia Air Base in the Technical Wing Department, later transferred to Moi Air Base then Kahawa Barracks as a Senior Auditor where he retired. He worked in the Kenya Defense Forces for 42 years.

Son of the late Solomon Ngoya Mwanja and the late Marita Nafula Ngoya.

Husband of Everlyne Nafula Ngoya. Father of Samuel Ngoya (Car and General Msa), Isaac Ngoya (Businessman), Caroline Ngoya (AETHER Energies Consultancy), Moses Ngoya (REA Vipingo) and Dorcus Ngoya (Bungoma County Referral Hospital).

Brother of Beatrice, Concepter, Everlyne, Roseline, Margaret, late Stanley, Alex, Leonard, Moses, Gladys and Jesca.

Father-in-law of Olympia Musonye (NG-CDF), Joseph Simiyu (USA), Elizabeth Mokaya (Huduma Centre) and Valary Mukhisa (REA Vipingo).

Grandfather of Sydney, Gianna, Rhoda, Daniel, Edward, Grace, Cydel, Sansin,Thoth, Chloe,Athena and Everlyne.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Bukembe B Village, Bukembe East Ward, Bungoma County.

The cortege will leave Life Care Hospital on Friday, 12th April 2024, and later be laid to rest Bukembe B Village, Bukembe East Ward, Bungoma County on 13th April 2024.

Yvonne was the daughter of Polycarp Omolo Ochilo and the late Jessica Raburu Ochilo, and Rev. Phyllis Byrd Ochilo.

Yvonne was the sister of Hawa (Uganda), Tatyana (USA), Ricky (USA), Kim (USA) and Atieno (USA).

Yvonne was a cherished Niece of Sylvester and Mary Swao Ochillo, the late Jacobs Obado, Rachel Ochung, The Samara’s: Margaret (TZ), The Makori’s (TZ), Ater, Oding, Odhiambo, Oginga, Bugo, Orero, The Raburu’s: John, Peter, the late Janet Owala, Mildred Okello, Dr. Dan, Prof. Tito, Orpah Ogonda, Jared, Ruth Oyieke and Bobby among others.

Yvonne was a beloved cousin of Many, the Swaos – Donald (USA), Dorothy (USA), David, Jackton, (USA), Richard (USA), Caroline (USA); the Obados – Aoko, Cynthia, Belinder, Jack, Joan; the Ochungs – Charles, Jessie, Boniface, Lydia, Vivian, Achieng, Veronica; Queen, Susan, Joy, Charles, Vivian, Keith, Joy, Kevin, Willis, Eugene among others.

The body will arrive from the USA on April 11th 2024.

A fundraiser towards funeral expenses will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Saturday, April 13th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

The memorial service will be held at St.Andrew’s Church on Wednesday, April 17th, at 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves for burial in her ancestral home, Ndiwa- North Kadem, Migori County- Nyatike Sub County on
Thursday, April 18th for overnight vigil. The burial service will take place on Friday, April 19th from 10:00 am.

Beloved wife of William Chebii (Kapkarang’ai). Devoted mother of Irene chebii (ladnan Hospital), Joan chebii {Nairobi County], Janet Chebii {Mumberes Dairies},Vivian chebii, Kibunga chebii (Australia), Joseph chebii (Kenya Army), Boaz Rutto (Sokee Agrovet Supplies), Sharleen Bunei,{Metkei Girls) and Mitchell Kipkorir.

Rael was a cherished sister of Sarah, Milka, Michael, Esther, Monicah, Priscah, Mary, Salome, Joyce, Hosea, Mercy, Kibet, Sally, and Kiprop.

Her life was enriched by numerous grandchildren namely; June, Blessing, Stacy, Edwin, Julie, Nadia, Dennis, Ian, Allah, Ashley, joylini, Talia, Daylan, Brian, Ryland, Deley, Lewis, and Mitchell.

She shared a bond of sisterhood  with Mary Chebii, the late Samuel Chebii, and the late Michael Chebii. Mother in law of Hellen Jelagat (Kapngetuny. Boys High) and Norah Barchilei (St. Patricks, Eldama Ravine). Adoring Auntie and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) Morgue on Thursday,April 11th 2024, at 3.00pm for an overnight vigil at her home. A funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, April 12th 2024 at her farm from 9.00am.

Brother of Petronilla Shisundi, Pius Khamusali (deceased), Mary Lukalo, Rose Khamusali Mutsotso, and Francis Shikhuban, Fabian Khamusali (deceased). Cousin, Uncle and Grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and consolation daily at their home in Kariobangi South (Nairobi), Shirere & Madivini (Kakamega County).

The cortege will leave Kakamega Farewell Home on 10th April 2024 at 8:00am for memorial service at Christ the King Catholic Church,Amalemba. Thereafter for a two-night vigil at his Home in Shirere and Madivini. He will be laid to rest on April 12th, 2024 at 09:00 at his residence in Madivini Sub-Location, Eregi Location, in the Kakamega South Sub-County.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Cottage Funeral Home on Wednesday, 10/04/2024 at 9.00am. Funeral Service and burial will be held at their farm in Mukima, Nanyuki, Laikipia County starting at 10.00am.

Karen passed away on 13/3/2024 in a tragic road accident in Naivasha.

Karen was the daughter to the late Mwalimu Peter Opiyo Obimba and Mother Electina Atieno Opiyo.

She is survived by her husband Evans Keboko Kibisu, children Bevin and Berline and siblings Jacklyne, James,
Edna, Kevin, Sarah, Claire, Gaspar, Rodgers, Hielder, Christine, Veronicah and Duncan.

Karen was cherished as an aunt, sister- in-law, cousin, niece and friend to many.

Meetings are held at her home in Nambale, Busia, and Highlands Hotel Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi, for a requiem mass at Chokaa, Missionaries of the Poor (MOP) Catholic Church on 11/4/2024. A second requiem mass will be held at St. Mary’s Okatekok Parish on 12/4/2024.

The funeral service and burial will take place on 13/4/2024 at her home in Mundulusya, Busia.
