It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the death of Mama Norah Moraa Abuga which occurred on Wednesday 13 March 2024 after battling with cancer.

She was wife of Mzee Samuel Abuga Nyanchoka of Risa village, Riamoni, Gesima ward, Kitutu Masaba, Nyamira County.

Beloved daughter of the late Naftal Chogo and the late Prisca Nyaboke Chogo of Eronge Village, Kitutu Chache North. Step-daughter of Ebisiba Nyasuguta and the late Susan Gesare.

Mother of Edith Nyaboke, David Ogamba, Dorothy Abuga, Jonathan Gichana and Job Onsinyo.

Sister of the late Onsomu, the late Andrew, Zeddy, James Chogo, Sussy, Racheal, Patrick Chogo, Grace, George, Askar, Gladys, Mary Aunga, Ruth, Caren, and Joash.

Sister in-law of William Onchwari and Eunice, Pauline Kwamboka Abuga, Peris, Catherine, Everlyne, Joyce, Felista, Naomi and others.

There will be a fundraising on 26 March 2024 at Nairobi SDA Central Church, from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves KUTRRH on 28th March 2024 for burial on 29th March 2024 at Risa village, Riamoni Gesima ward, Kitutu Masaba Nyamira County.

Son of the late Kabiaru Gachuhi and the late Wangui Kabiaru.

Loving Husband of Jane Mary Wanjiku Mahugu.

Father of the late Charles Kabiaru, Simon Murugu (Shannon), Benson Gachuhi, the late Herman Githinji, Beatrice Wangui, Joseph Muraya (Joddie) and Andrew Gathege (Paco).

Son in-law of the late Paul Murugu and the late Janet Wangechi.

Father in-law of Maureen, Grace, Milka, Betty and Mr. Hagglund.

March, 2024 after a short illness.

Son of the late Reuben Ouya and the late Esther Ouya of East Karateng, Kisumu County.

Beloved husband of Millicent Onyango. Father of Linda Okello, Sylvia Onyango, Everline Akinyi Onyango of KDF Leah Juliet Adhiambo, Musa Oyola Onyango and Elkana Martin Odhiambo.

Brother of the late Clerah Akinyi Owade, Hellen Chiaji, Maurice Olang’o, Perez Obara, Grace Ugwe, the late Mildred
Adhiambo, Alice Oyugi and facob Odhiambo.

Brother-in-law of Benta Olang’o, Judith Odhiambo, the late Washington Owade, Austin Chiaji, Arthur Obara, James Ugwe and Rtd. General Maurice Oyugi.

He was the grandfather of Joseph Odongo, Adrian Jimmy, Leon Sunguli, Dexter Juma, Blessings Wekesa, Stacy Arleens and Jenevieve Neema.

The cortege leaves Masaba Hospital Mortuary on Friday 22nd March, 2024 for overnight vigil at home.

Burial will take place on Saturday 23rd March, 2024 at his home in Nyabera Village, East Karateng.

Sister of the late Kimata Mativo, the late Maithya Mativo, Muendo Mativo, Ndambuki Mativo, Mwinzi Mativo, Mwanzia Mativo, the late Lois Kilonzo, the late Musyawa, the late Mutile and Monicah Maweu.

Mother of Stephene Kiio, the late Ndileve, Nduku, Janet, Ramen, Kanini, Musembi, Musyoki, Mumo, the late Peter, Wambua and Nzula.

Grandmother of 67 Grandchildren, among them; Mutuku Kiio, Kyalo Kiio, Makau, Musembi, Kyania Wambua, Eunice Musyoki, Mutua Mumo, Mbinya Wambua, Mutisya Peter, Mulinge Benard, Mwongeli Wambua and others. She was blessed with many great grandchildren.

Burial will be on Saturday, 23 March 2024 at her home, Misakwani Village, Kyuu, Mbooni.

Loving wife of the late Jared Yagomba Obwonde. Mother of William Yagomba of Madukha Tours and Safaris ltd, Bishop Gordon Yagomba of Nairobi, Mrs Margaret Odinga of Gem.

She was a sister-in-law of the late George Oketch, the late Booker Were, the late Joseph Wanyama, the late John Osunga, the late Leah Tiang and the late Margaret Onyango.

Mother-in-law of the late Wilkister Akoth Yagomba, Susan Asumo Osumba, Loice Yagomba, Wellington Ogego Odinga.

She was mama of Oketchs, Weres, Wanyamas and John Osungas. She was aunty of the Odhiambos, Oriaros, Kowades, Ojungos.

She was Nyawana of Mzee Samuel Osumba and Mama Joyce Osumbo of Gem.

Meetings are being held at her home in Osieko village, Budalangi, Busia and in Nairobi.

There will be a church service at Osieko ACK Parish on 22nd March at 2:00pm.

Burial will be held at the family home, Osieko village on Saturday, 23 March 2024 at 10.00am

It is with humble acceptance of God ‘s will that the Teachers Service Commission announces the sudden demise of Nehemiah Kiplagat which occurred on 4th March, 2024 through a road accident.

Son of Chepyegon Chelagat and Tungo Chepyegon.

Husband of Costa Kiyai. Loving dad of Erick Kipruto, Naomi Jepkemoi, Brian Kiprop, Vincent Kemboi, Ezra Sirma, Emmanuel Kipsugut, Joy jepchumba and Stacy Jepkorir. Brother of Magdaline, Evaline, James, Jeniffer and Elizabeth.

Son-in-law of Charles Kiprugut and Pazilisah Kiprugut. Brother-in-law of Samuel Chebor, Joseph Cheru, David Kiptoo, Leah Kiprono, Jonah Kiprugut, Gladys among others.

The cortege leaves Eldama Ravine Sub County Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 22nd March 2024 for mass and burial service at his home in Katunoi Village, Baringo Central Sub-County, Baringo County.

George Muturi Ndung’u

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our esteemed member of staff, Mr. George Muturi Ndung’u, which occurred on 17th March 2024. Mr. Ndung’u served the University with unwavering commitment.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Wanjiku Muturi, son of Joseph Ndung’u Muturi and the late Margaret Ngendo Ndung’u.

He was a devoted father of Sydney Ndichu, Whitney Ngendo, Fabian Ndung’u, and Malachi Mwangi, and a cherished brother of Pius Thuku, Caroline Njeri, Esther Wairimu, and Milka Nyambura.

He was also a respected brother-in-law of Joseph Kiundu. Mr. Ndung’u leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication.

Daily prayers are being offered at his residence in Juja from 4:00 PM.

The cortege will depart from Kenyatta University (KU) Mortuary for burial on Friday, 22nd March 2024, at 10:00 AM at Karangaita-Thika.

Agnes Sambiro Ngoda

12.01.1947 ~ 11.03.2024

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Agnes Sambiro Ngoda after a short illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Harold Jefferson Ngoda.

Agnes was the daughter of the late Esther Wanjala and the late David Kitawi. Daughter-in-law of the late Elizabeth Mkawanyika and the late Mkirema wa Mwanganyi.

Loving-mother of Elizabeth Ndemo (late), David Ngoda, and Esther Oketch. Mother-in-love of Gerry Ndemo, Kaari Kitawi, and Michael Oketch.

She was grandmother of Elisha Oketch, Sambiro Kitawi, Sambiro Oketch, Kwame Kitawi, Leticia Oketch, Eliakim Ndemo, Zuri Kitawi and Ariela Ndemo.

She was sister of Zilla, Jason (late), Ishmael (late), Zablon (late), Nikodemus (late), Dan, and Doreen.

Sister-in-law of Esther (late), Julius (late), Rosemary (late), Lydia, Hope, and Davis (late). She was an aunt to many.

Agnes retired as a nurse from Kenyatta National Hospital,

Funeral meetings are being held daily at Donholm Estate, Baraka court.

There will Be a requiem mass at A.C.K St Stephen’s Church, Jogoo Road on Thursday 21st March 2024 at 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at 7.00am on Friday 22nd March 2024 for Mbale, Wundanyi, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband on Saturday 23rd March 2024.
