We announce with deep sorrow the passing of our beloved Stephen Ochuodho Mak’ Ogwang, on 4th April 2020.

Son of the late Jacob Ochuodho and Pulikeria Tibulihiwa Ochuodho. Step-son of Ruth Ochuodho. Grandson of the late Samson Ogwang’ Ahem. Brother of Anna Anyango, Susan Auma, Grace Atieno, Agness Muga, Joshua Ochuodho, Basil Ochuodho, Samuel Ochuodho, Jerry Ochuodho and others.

Cousin of Crispo Otieno, Pamela Ayieta, Eucabet Otieno, David Ochuodho, William Odidi and Duncan Odhiambo. Beloved uncle of many nephews and nieces including Edwin Okoth, Geofrey Songoi, Edwina Atieno, Gershom Ogutu and Ann-verah Owuor.

Steve will be laid to rest next to his grandfather’s graveyard at, Karose Village, Fort-ternan location, Kisumu County on 17th April 2020, at a ceremony to be attended by immediate family members only.

It is with profound grief and deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of our beloved son Christopher Maseu Muthoka of Kenya Alliance Insurance Company on 29th February 2020.

Son of Jefferson Mutia and Grace Mutindi Mutia and step son of Alice Mbatha Mutia. Brother of Jonathan Musyoka, Christine Ndunge, Lydia Katheu, Gloria Mwende and Victor Mutia. Grandson of Late Samuel Mutia Ngwava, Loice Mutia, Late Paul Mandi and Lydia Paul. Nephew of Jonathan Mutia, Onesmas Musyoki, Margaret Mutia, David Munyao, Eunice Mwongeli, Milka Mutia, Herman Kyalo, Hemmieny Minoo, Elizabeth Mbaika, Andrew Ndambuki, Dr. Dave Muthama, Sheila Matheka Muasya and John Mandi. Brother-in-law of Berry Mboya and Uncle of Daisy Mboya. Cousin of Muli Kyalo, Paul Mutangili, Julie Matheka, Nduku Nzyima among many others.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ruth Kabui Wainaina from Ngoe, Kandara, Murang’a County, which occurred on 23rd February 2020 after a short illness. Formerly worked at Delmonte Thika.

Daughter of Joseph Ndegwa and Faith Wambui. Beloved wife of Esbon Wainaina of Bridge Electricals Nyamakima. Mother of Eva Njeri and Vivian Wambui. Sister of John, Mary, Muchiri, Waithera, Njeri, Kimani and Kamau. Daughter-in-law of Retired Bishop Hosea Njoroge (PEFA Church) and Mrs. Alice Njeri. Sister-in-law of Ng’aari, Wambui, Faith and Kuria.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Millennium 2000 Nyamakima from 6:00pm, at her residence in Thika Phs. 13 Plot 150 and at Kangui Village in Kandara.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati Road on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at 9:00am for funeral service at P.C.E.A Church Kahiga and later for burial at Kangui Village, Kandara Murang’a County.

Father-in-law of Alvin Mageto and Kevin Keter. Grandfather of Alex, Isabelle, Cameron, Arielle and Andre’. The burial service will be held on the 07th December, 2019 at Lusala Iambi Village, Sabatia Sub-location Vihiga County, starting at 10:00am.

John Njoroge Kinuthia (Mwalimu)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Njoroge Kinuthia (Mwalimu) which occurred through a tragic road accident on 16/11/2019. He was formally an Employee of USAID Nairobi. He hails from Eldoret (Uasin Gishu County) and from Gachie, Kihara, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Clement Kinuthia (Ruku) and the late Wairimu Kinuthia. Husband of Anne Wanjiru Njoroge. Father of Loise Wairimu Njoroge, Joy Nyambura Njoroge (St. Paul University, Limuru), Clement Kinuthia, (Green Garden School Kikuyu) and Troy Kirumba. Brother of Michael Kiarie (Eldoret) , Joseph Kamau, Moses Njoroge (Eldoret) and Susan Wanjiru (Eldoret. John Njoroge was the son-in-law of Samuel Kirumba Muiruri and Joyce Nyambura Kirumba of Namelok, Loitokitok.

We wish to acknowledge the invaluable medical attention extended to our Mum, at the Aga Khan Hospital led by Dr Daniel Githegi and Dr Twahir with their team of doctors, and to the four Nurses, Judith Adhola, Hellen Wamwari, Margaret Odhiambo and Hellen Chazima, who gave Mum the medical care and support that she needed.

As it is not possible to reach each one of you, kindly accept our sincere appreciation for the role you each played to ensure we gave our Mum a befitting burial.
