Catherine Imbosa Mushira Njihia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Catherine Imbosa Mushira Njihia, which occurred on 23rti January. 2023 at The Nairobi West Hospital, after an illness bravely borne. Catherine was born on 15th April, 1968 in Kakamega – Butsunga Itenyi Village, Shinyalu Constituency, Kakamega County.

She was the 9th born child of the late Jennifer Mukhanyi and William Mushira. Daughter-in-law to the late Paul Njihia and Margaret Wambui.

She was the beloved wife of John Kamau Njihia. Loving mother to Paul Destiny Njihia and joy Wambui Njihia.

A sister, loved dearly by her siblings; Beatrice Achitsa, Aggrey Awori, Manoah Avungana, Lady Justice Roseline Wendoh, Patrick Mbiya, Jesca lkhungu, Everret Mambili, Peter Mushira, Renson Jomo, Fred Mushira, Eugene Shihachi, Jeane Khamayo and Paul Shikami

She was a sister in-law to Ann Wairimu, Jane Wanjeri A&B, Francis Kiragu, Daniel Kanyingi A&B, the late Tabitha Wanjiru, James Muturi, Esther Nduta, Ruth Murugi A&B, Mary Wanjiku, the late Isaac Nganga, Peter Njoroge, John Kamaujosphat Mburu, Mary Wanjiru, Johnson Ngigi, Tabitha Ngina, Grace Wairimu, Genevieve Awori, Phanice Avungana, Diana Ilusa, Inviolate Mushira, Josephine Lubonga, Mary Mushira, Everlyne Mbiya and Clasine Seru. Beloved aunty, granny and friend to many.

A celebration of her life will be held in Nairobi on Thursday 26th January, 2023 starting 1.30pm at ACK St. Augustine’s Parish – Madaraka, Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home – Nairobi on Friday, 27th January, 2023 at 0900hrs. The funeral service will be held at her home in Wanjura Village, Matindiri Location, Nyandarua County on Saturday, 28th January, 2023 from 10.00am.

We thank God for the years He gave her to us and we pray that the Lord rests her soul in eternal glory.
