It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Catherine Kainyu Gitari on 8th June 2022.

Catherine was wife to Dickson Gitari Rithaa of Chuka Ritho Stores. Loving mother to Risper Kendi and Martin Munene of NIBS College, Ruiru. She was daughter to late Boniface Nkoru and Mrs Edith Nkoru. Daughter-in-law to the late Mr & Mrs Gerald Rithaa.

Sister to Lenity Kathenya (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), John Murithi, Lillian Kanyua and Daniel Kithinji. Sister-in-law to James Kathenya (KABCO Contractors), Joseph Ndwiga of Embu University, Jeniffer, Millicent, Keziah, John, Late Kiriungi and Kithinji.

Aunt to Christine, Evetyne, Maureen, Maurice, Kelvin, Mwenda, Mutwiri, Nyaga and Mwiti among others.

The cortege leaves Lampedusa Funeral Home, Chuka on Friday, 17th June 2022 at 10.30 am. Funeral service will be at Kirege Church- Chuka Tharaka Nithi County starting 11.30 am
