Cecilia Abuya Ndinya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Cecilia Abuya Ndinya which occurred on 23rd March 2020. She was a former cateress at Maseno University. She hails from Okwatch Village, Sidho East II Location, Chemelil in Muhoroni Sub-County.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abuya and the late Silvanus Ndinya and Hellen Ndinya. Mother of Julie Brenda Awuor (AFC). Sister of Serphine, the late Dalmas, the late Cylirus, the late Aloice, the late Rose, Aloice, Eng. Edward (Public Works, Garissa), Bibiana (TVETA), Elizabeth (IFC), Fintan (Strathmore School), John (Businessman, Nairobi), the late Anne, Paul (Dubai), Capt. Vincent (Kenya Airways) and Dr. Florentius (Ministry of Health, Kisumu). Sister-in-law of Jackie (Planet Yoghurt), Emmanuel (IEBC), Linda, Effie (Dubai), Sarah (Educatel) and Dr. Evelyne (Ministry of Health, Kisumu). Aunty of Cleophas, Sunday, Peter, Doreen, Eileen, Einstein, Robert, Regina, Beatrice among others.

Cecilia will be laid to rest on 28th March 2020 at a private ceremony. A memorial will be held at a later date.
