Cecilia Mwelu Maingi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Cecilia Mwelu Maingi which occurred on 22nd May 2023.

She was the wife of the late Anthony Maingi Mati. A loving mother to the late Benard & Esther Mutinda, the late Cosmas & Magdalene Wambua, Redemptor & Lawrence Mwalili, Sr. Mary Nelly Maingi, Sabina Maingi, Martin & Rose Mati, Bernadette & Andrew Kiarie Ndonga, Phyllis & Benard Musau, Stella & Mariusz Wrobel and Alphonce & Teresia Mwania.

A grandmother to Winnie, Cecilia, Benedict & Eva; Jackline & Anthony; the late Sabina, the late Benard,Anthony & Cecilia; Bernadette, Anthony & Mumo; Andrew, peter & Allan;Alphonse, Louis-Anthony, Assumpta & Austin; Michael & Michelle; and Cecilia. A great grandmother to Rita, Kiplagat and Joseph.

The cortege will leave Montezuma-Monalisa Funeral Home — Machakos on 6th June 2023 at 8.00 am for a Funeral Mass and burial at her home in Machakos County, Kangundo, Ngiini village. The Mass will start at 11.30am.
