It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Cecilia Waruguru Kahoro, our cherished matriarch and family pillar. She passed away peacefully in Nairobi after a short illness borne with great fortitude, humility, courage, humor, strength and resilience.
Beloved wife of the late Joel Kahoro. Loving mother of the late John Macharia, the late Charles King’ara, Lucy Kihara, Hillary Muchiri, Hellen Wamiti, Philomena Kariguh and Evanson Rwara. Also mother of jacinta Kirigo, Priscilla Nyaguthie, Albert King’ara, Nancy Gathoni, Charity Wacuka, Joseph Karuri, David Ndiritu and James Methu. Cherished mother-in-love, Grandmother and Great-grandmother to many.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa funeral home at Kabati on Wednesday 23rd July, 2025 at 7am for the funeral service and burial at her home in Gathugu Farm, Mumbuini Village, Chinga Location, Othaya-Nyeri County.
