Celia Akelo Ondiek

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Mama Cella Akelo Ondiek.

Daughter of the late Martin Oketch and the late Cornelia Oketch. Loving wife of Mr Luke Ondiek. Mother of Josephine Obura, Simon Peter Ondiek, Christine Oter,. Jacqueline Amayo, Andrew Ondiek, John Paul Ondiek and Mary Cornelia. Sister of Anna Osir and Joseph Oketch. Sister-in-law of the late Anjelus Odeny, Justus Kitoto, Consolata Owese, John Kitoto, the late Charles Kauku, Rita Atieno, Roseline Akello and Jacob Kitoto Jnr. Mother-in-law of Tom Obura, Lucy Chea, Isaiah Dioro, Wilson Amayo and Celestine Umira. A grandmother to many.

There will be a fundraising to offset hospital and funeral expenses on Wednesday 16th January 2019 at All Saints Church as from 1730 Hrs.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital – Milimani on Friday 18th January 2019 at 12.30pm followed by a requiem mass which will be held at St Paul Church, Kisumu.

Burial will be on Saturday 19th January 2019 at Luke Ondiek’s home near Mukendwa Primary School in Kanyakwar, Kisumu.
