Charles Chege Kihato

1948-2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Charles Chege Kihato of Kariobangi South Civil servants Estate Nairobi on 30th March 2022.

He was husband to Margaret Muthoni Chege.

Son of the late Kihato Chege and the late Susan Wanjiku Kihato of Gatitu village, Nyeri County.

Son-in-law to the late Stephen Gikuri Njuguna and the late Mary Nyaguthii Gikuri.

Beloved father to John Kihato Chege, Stephen Gikuri Chege and Joan Wanjiku Chege.

Father in law to Christine Wamaitha and Jeromy Ruoro.

Brother to Catherine Wanjiru Chege Nyanjui of Mombasa,the late Janet Wairimu Wangathi, the late Charity Wacuka Kihato, the late Alice Wanjiku Kihato and the late Jerioth Wamuyu Kihato.

Step brother to Margaret Wanjiku Kimani,the late Paul Chege Kihato, the late Gladys Wairimu Wakaba, the late Eliud Waithaka Kihato and the late Hellen Wanjugu Karue.

He was grandfather and great grandfather to many. He was also uncle to many.

Burial will take place on Thursday 7th April 2022.

Cortege will leave KNH mortuary on the same day at 7am, followed by a funeral service at PCEA Kariobangi South Church and thereafter burial service at Lang’ata Cemetery.

It is God who giveth and it is Him who taketh. Glory be to His name.
