Charles Oluoko Abwanda

With much sorrow we regret to announce the sudden death of Charles Oluoko Abwanda, which occurred on Friday 23rd April 2021. He was the son of the late Silverster Abwanda Otuto and late Anastacia Atieno.

He was the loving husband of Martha Akeyo Oluoko and a doting father to Edwina Atieno, Robert Oluoko (Ogaden), Melisa Oluoko Oduor, Erastus Oluoko, Ludy Oluoko Wambia, Ezekiel Opinya, William Ombewa, Nelly Adhiambo, Joshua Olang’, Brian Wesley and Francis Kingsley. Father-in- law to John Nyanjom, Betina Nakami, Kepher Oduor, Fred Wambia and Elizabeth Minaji. He had 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by the following siblings: Michael Olwande, Margaret Onsomu, Fredrick Owino, Eric Owino (Lumumba) and is survived by Dorothy Ogweno, Ambrose Odak, Mariko Oduor, Philip Otieno , George Ouma, Washington Onyango and Pamela Awino.

Burial will be Saturday 8/5/2021 at his home in Alego Masumbi, Kakan Kanyango, Kabwanda- Siaya County.
