Christine Boke Mang’era

23rd December 1967 – 7th April 2022

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Christine Boke Mang’era which occurred on Thursday 7th April 2022 at Kenyatta Primecare Centre after a valiant battle with illness.

Christine was the beloved wife to Mr John Mang’era ( former KNUT Secretary Kuria).

Mother to Edith Robi Mang’era (Ikerege Secondary), Matiko Mang’era (County Attorney, Migori County), Kibiro Mang’era (Dressed By Lina/KAYRICE Ltd), Moses Mang’era (NRB), Joshua Nyamohanga (Egerton University), Mercy Mang’era (KDF), Samuel Mang’era (St. Joseph Rapogi).

Daughter to the Late Mwita Ibrahim Nyamohanga and the late Robi Matiko Nyamohanga.

Sister to Ibrahim Mwita, Joseph Maina, the late Agnes Nyabosamba and Elizabeth Masubo.

First cousin to Late Rioba Mohammed, the late John Maina, Stanslaus Makuri, the Late Stephen Nsato, Patrick Mwita, the Late Mogesi Chacha, Esther Nyagonchera, Consolata Nyanokwe and Colleta Chacha.

She was a doting grandmother to Chloe Shamonique Mosenda, Dylan Yisrael Mosenda, Lero Jabali-Imani Achola, Christie Zuhura-Pendo Achola.

She was a sister in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many and will be surely missed.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Nyabohanse, Kuria West and at Professional Centre, Nairobi, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa funeral home, Nairobi, on Monday, 18th April 2022 at 6.00am for burial at her home in Nyabohanse village, Kuria West sub-county, Migori County on Tuesday, 19th April, 2022.
