Its with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Christopher Munene Nguri which occurred on the 7th December after a long illness very bravely borne.

Loving husband to Margaret Njoki Munene and father to George Nguri and Grace Kaimuri, Francis Muruthi and Susan Njambi, Dan Nguchu and Queen Wanjiru and Robert Ndegwa.

Son to the late Jotham Nguri Nguchu and the late Grace Wanjiku Nguri. Son-in-law to the late Francis Muruthi Ndegwa and the late Zipporah Wanjira Muruthi.

Brother to Dan & Ruth Nguchu, the late Faith Igecha & Simon, Evans Matu, Jason & Jane Njiru, Senior Pastor Eric & Judy Njagi, Bishop John & Mercy Meru, James & Grace Thiaka, Pastor Peter & Rosalyn Kangi and Rose Muthoni.

Brother-in-law to Robert & Eunice Ndegwa, Nancy Kagure, David and Millicent Thuita, Beatrice and David Njoroge, Leah Wamahiga and Monica Wangari.

Grandfather to Margaret Maki, Joy Gakii, Brianna Njoki, Ethan Munene, Ivan Nioroge, Maya Njoki and Margaret Nguchu. An uncle and cousin to many.

Daily meetings are ongoing at A.C.K St. Thomas Cathedral Kerugoya from 5.00pm.

A fundraising drive to cover expenses will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on 13th December from 5.00pm. Paybill number is 8023875.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 15th December at 6.00am for a funeral service at ACK Cathedral Kerugoya at 9.00am and thereafter burial at his farm in Rukenya, Kirinyaga County.
