Cililo Matae Ruria

We announce the passing on of Mzee Ciliro Matae Ruria of Gakuri Village, Kionyo, South Imenti, Meru County.

Son of the late Ruria and the late Marcela. Brother to the late Alice, the late Rebecca, Beatrice, Jennifer and the late David Muchiri.

Loving husband of the late Teresina Matae. Father to Peter Kirimi, Jane Mbaabu, Agnes Nkonge, Samuel Murithi, Florence Mugambi, Salome Kanampiu, Simon Matae and Lawrence Kimathi.

Father-in-law to Hellen Kirimi, Christopher Mbaabu, the late Joe Nkonge, the late Lucyline Murithi, Mary Murithi, the late Ephantus Mugambi, Fred Kanampiu, Fridah Mwiti and Sabina Kimathi.

He leaves behind 32 grandchildren among them Hon. Kiogora DMK and 27 great grandchildren.

Prayer meetings & burial arrangement are taking place daily at his home Gakuri Village Kionyo.

The cortege will leave Nkubu Consolata Mission Hospital on Saturday, 23rd September, 2023 for a Holy Mass at Kionyo Catholic Parish Church from 10:00am. Thereafter, the interment will be held at his home in Gakuri Village, Kionyo.
