Claire Lumayo Ambasi

With the acceptance of God’s will, we regret of announce the passing of Claire Lumayo Ambasi, which occurred on 2nd September, 2019 after being taken ill and rushed to Vihiga County Referral Hospital to be pronounced dead on arrival. She worked at the Mbale Rural Health Training Center, Vihiga County Referral Hospital.

Wife of the late Derrick Ambasi. Daughter of Sabeti Kavulani and the late Tom Injera Emonyi of Visiru village, Kegoye Sub-location, Vihiga County. Daughter-in-law of the late Joshua Mayodi and Fanice Mayodi. Mother of Isaac Mayodi, the late Liz Mijide and lsaya Injera. Sister of Emonyi H., Midega G., Emonyi W., Engesha F., Kadesa K., Omido S, Vugutsa G., Mmbasu Z., the late Imbayi A. and Muhembeli W. Sister-in-law of Claudia, Salano, Beatrice, the late Afandi, Kavere, Essendi and Jane.

The cortege leaves Kaimosi (jumuiya) Farewell Home on Thursday, 12/09/2019 and burial will take place on Saturday, 14/09/2019 at her home in Wakigunyi village, Kegoye Sub-location, Vihiga County.
