Claire Wanjiru Kariuki

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Claire Wanjiru Kariuki, which occurred on 10th August, 2022 after a short illness.

Daughter to Nicholas Kariuki Kiarie and Jean Nyamahemba Elidde. Fiancée to Sammy Mwaniki. Loving mother to Natasha Njoki and Alvin Murage. Sister to Valentine Njoki, Alexander Kiarie,Wycliffe Waiguru, Jack Muhiri, Isabella Mukami, Natasha Wanjiru and Abigael Wacuka.

Sister-in-law to Syprine Boke, Jonathan Muhiri, Sedah Moses, Ruth Changwo and Joyce Muringo. Niece to David Njenga, Patrick Kimani,Teresia Wambui, Richard Kibure,Thaddeus, Lemmy and others.

Cousin to James, Paul, Phylis, Gideon, Wambui, Lina, Cynthia, among others. Dotting Aunt to Bravin, Levi,Ashley, Ivy, Brian, Milan, Ninah and others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Athi River.

A requiem mass will take place on Thursday, I 8th August 2022 from 5.00pm at St. Kizito Catholic Church – Athi River.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on Friday 19th August, 2022 at 7:00am for a memorial service at Divine Mercy Thara Catholic Church – Tinag’ang’a as from 10.00am. Thereafter burial will be held in Ting’ang’a Kiu, Kiambu.
