Constance ‘Connie’ Nduku Muyanga

2nd Anniversary

It’s been 2 years to the date since our beloved Matriarch entered into her heavenly rest.

In life, she was many things to different people. A beloved wife and life companion of over 50 years to Joseph Musau Muyanga, a mother to her children, Lilian, the late Robert Kioko, Rose & Musyoki, Mwongeli, Ngina & Kanja. She was also a dotting grandmother to Steve, Toi, Mark, Mwendwa, Mwende, Wema, Musau, Malcom and Sifa. Also missed by Mwende, Cathreen, Mutui and Esther. She also was a sister, an in-law, aunt, cousin, friend and mentor to many.

“Inyaa Lili” or “Mwaitu” as she was fondly known by many relatives and friends was a strong pillar of the community in Mitaboni. Her absence is felt in all the initiatives she supported and joyously participated in, especially her involvement in the development of the New East African Church.

She is deeply missed by her family and friends but the shared memories, lessons she imparted keep all her loved ones going. She may not be physically present with us but we take comfort that she is with the Lord. We remain awed by God’s grace and comfort that continues to sustain us. God has indeed been faithful, we would not be able to survive the grief and sorrow of being without our mum.

Connie, Mummy,”inyaa Lili”,”Mwaitu”, we miss you more than any words can express, you are a constant in our minds….You are loved.
