CPA Luke Njiru Kagereki, ACCA.

No one expected the sudden death of Mr. Luke Njiru Kagereki on 8th August 2023 after a short illness bravely borne. We are shocked and heartbroken, but he wanted us to celebrate his life, not mourn his death. He was a dedicated auditor for over 40 years before retiring to pursue his hobbies.

Kagereki was predeceased by his parents, Josephine Muthanji and Nahashon Njogu. Son-in-law to the late Josephat Kiriro and Flora Njoki.

Beloved husband to Anne Wambere, loving baba to Rose Kagereki, Charles Gichangi, Dr. Edwin Kagereki, Patrick Kinyua and Jim Kagerekt.

Father-in-law to Purity Karimi, Dr Anne Njoroge and Felistus Kitivi.

Cherished Babu to Sharlyn,Vivian, Njoki, Bramwell, Shirai, Lauren, Luke and Mlia amongst others.

Brother to Lawrence, Alfred, John, David, the late Joshua, Amos, the late Manasses, Anion, Johnpeter, Stephen, Dionisa, the late Hellen, Mary, Merry, Elas, Joseline, the late Emily, Emma and Jane. He was a cousin, uncle, mentor and close friend to many.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital at 6:00am on 15th August, 2023, for the burial service from 10:00am at his home, Ugweri Village, Gicera Sub-location, Embu County.

Say not in grief `he is no more’, but in thankfulness that ‘he was’.
