Crispus Mwangi Kuira

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Crispus Mwangi Kuira which occurred on 31st December, 2018 after a short illness.

Son of Francis Kahuha Kuira Mwangi of Nyahururu and Prof Mumbo Mwangi of St. Cloud State University, MN. USA. Father of Martha Njambi, Francis Kuira (Both of Busara Forest Academy) and Robin Nyoike (Musa Gitau Pri.).  Brother of Njeri M, Clement, Olive Jones, Ruth Mwangi-Ochieng, James Nyoike, Florence Wairimu (all of USA) and Perpetua Wambui (KU).

Brother-in-law of George Ochieng (USA) and Wiliam Kimari (Kenya). Grandson of Perpetua Wambui Wango (Thogoto, Kikuyu), James Gichuhi Muiruri, the late Rev. Crispus Mwangi Gathu and the late Naomi Njeri. Nephew of Prof. Olive Mugenda and the late Prof. Abel Mugenda, Florence Mbugua and the late Joseph Kiarie Mbugua, Dr Kamau Wango and Dr. Jennifer Wango, Peter Gathu, the late Vincent Ndungu, Ruth Karungari, John Mwenjera and Simon Githuku.

Uncle of Kimari, Matthew, Vanessa, Victoria, Angel, Allen, Ethan, Maxx, Aidan and Jaiden. Cousin of Gitau, Nyoike, Lynda, Wambui, Angela, Murugi, Nyaruiru, Priscilla, Alex, Brian, lan, Wambugu, Beatrice, Mari, Karungari, Wangari, Naomi, Mwangi, Joel, Gathu, Martha, John, Maina and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Impala Hotel, Parklands from 5.00pm.

There will be a fundraiser at the same venue on Friday 11th January.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Rd on Tuesday 15th January 2019 at 8.30am and proceed to Njathaini Village, Gituamba Township, Matara, Kiambu county for funeral and burial from 11.00am.
