We are saddened to announce the death of Cyrus Kiongo Wachira through a tragic road accident, which occurred on March 15, 2023 at Baraka area, Ngata in Nakuru County. Until his demise, he was a staff at Mount Kenya University.

Son to the late James Wachira Kiongo & Jane Gathoni Wachira.

Husband to Joan Nangila Mumaraki. Doting father to Austin Wachira, Allen Wafubwa & Adrian Charles Ngunjiri.

Brother to Phoebe Nyaguthii, Caroline Wanjiku, Samuel Ngunjiri & Julia Wanjira.

Son-in-Law to the late Charles Barasa Wandili & Jane Nafula Wafubwa.

Uncle to Judy, Alvin, Calvin, Rayden, Anwyl, Brayden, Andy, Clavin Joy, Clyvin, Asher Charles, Leticia Tail & Liam.

Brother in law to Benjamin Barasa, Evelyn Mutula, Josiah, Priscilla, Naomi, Lorna, Jeremy, Anne, Abraham & Loise Wanjugu.

Cousin to Catherine, Muchemi among others.

The memorial service will be held at MKU, Thika campus on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:30a.m.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Thika Road Branch (Kabati) on Friday March 24, 2023 for burial on the same day at Mbiriri Village, Ndathi Sub-location, Kieni East Sub County, Nyeri County.
