Remembering Mum

(1940 – 22nd September 2021)

It’s now one year since you departed from us to be with the Lord. It has not been easy but we thank God for his grace and strength to endure the void. Today you are remembered by your children; Jenipher, Edward, Emilly, Milton, Evelyn, Pauline and Philip together with their families, your brothers and sisters-in-law, the extended family and your sisters and brothers in Christ.

It has not been easy without your physical presence but through the pain of missing you we have each discovered strength we never knew we had, the strength that could only be discovered through self reflection in your remembrance, humble demeanor, humor, laughter and adherence to Christian values at all times.

Mum you taught us well, how to live and relate with everyone. We have continued to love, embrace and have learned to take care of each other. Mum, our family has remained united as you always prayed for. Thank you for your love and sacrifice for the family. We thank God for giving you to us. We know you watch over each one of us and you are proud of who we have become. We bless the Lord because our separation with you is only temporary and we shall soon meet again as our Lord Jesus Christ promised and we believe Him.

Continue dancing with the angels our dancing queen while singing your favourite song ever till we meet again.
