Damaris Mbete Maithya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we Announce the passing on of Damaris Mbete Maithya which occurred on Wednesday, 26th April 2023 at Guru Nanak Hospital Nairobi.

She is the second born child of Joel Saa and Josephine Wavinya (both deceased).

Loving wife of Nicholas Maithya Muindi. Loving mother to Irene Ngina, Charles Mutua, Deborah Mwende, Mary Wanza, and Lilian Mutinda. Grandmother of Mitchell Mwende, Brandon Mutua, Sherlyn Mbete, Reece Willy Edgar and Mother-in-law of Doreen Mwende.

Sister to Jackson Kavithi, Winfred Mbithe, Esther Wanza and Rashwel Monthe.

Niece of Charles Mutungi, Joseph Kituku, Francis Mumo, Blench Willy, Agnes Koki among others.

Sister-in-law of Dancan Masaku, Jackson Muvau, Henry Musyoki, Regina Masaku, Jane Muvau and Hellen Musyoki.

Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Muindi Mutwota and the late Esther Munee Muindi. In-law of Faith Nthenya Nzioka.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home at Kakinduni village and also through WhatsApp groups for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Machakos on Saturday, 6th May 2023 and thereafter funeral and burial services at her home at Kakinduni Village, Muvuti/Kiima Kimwe Ward, Machakos County starting at 10.00am.
