Damaris Muthoni Maina

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely promotion to glory of Mrs. Damaris Muthoni Maina.

Wife to WO I (RTD) Diphatha Maina Mbui (HSC). Mother to Rosylin & Kristopher Keene, Christine Wanjiku, George Kabucho, Dorothy Maina and Kenneth Mwangi. Adoptive mother to Christine Wairimu. Doting grandmother to Nicole, Andrew, Nathaniel, Gabriel. Joseph, Luke and Maria, among others.

Daughter to the late William Magi Chege and the late Mary Njuugu. Daughter-in-law to the late Peter Mbui and Saravina Micere Mbui.

Sister to Wanjiru, Muringo, Waniira, Wairimu, Mwangi and Wanja Sister-in-law to the late Wanjiru, the late Muthoni, the late George, Njeri, and Kariuki. Cousin, aunty, in-law and friend to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Palm Gardens -Mutonya, Ruiru from 5.00pm.

There will be a Requiem Mass on 24th April, 23 at the Queen of Apostles Church (along Thika Superhighway) at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 25th April, 2023 at 0600hrs. Funeral mass begins at 11.00am at Ngando Primary School, Karima – Sagana location, Kirinyaga County, followed by interment at the home.

Eternal Rest grant unto Damaris oh God and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen!
