It is with deep sorrow and in humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Damaris Wambui Ngugi, Manager Human Resource and Administration – Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency.

Loving wife to James Wanjohi of the Ministry of Agriculture, Kilimo House. Devoted Mum to Wendie Wangechi, Westin Wanjohi, Wayne Ngugi and Waylan Kanyi.

Daughter to Jonah Ngugi and Julia Nduta and daughter in-law to the late Moses Wanjohi and the late Shelmith Wangeci.

Doting Sister to Beatrice Muthoni, Abel Noah Wachira and Jenifer, Dan Allan Wachira and Tabitha, Beth Wangari, Jonathan Kariuki and Pauline, Stephen Kiiru, James Gachau and Faith and Sarah Ngugi.

Sister in law to Kanyi and Elizabeth, Sammy and Wambui, Charles and Esther, Patrick and Sarah, Dr. Stephen and Margaret, Peter and Joyce, Francis and Grace, Vuma and Banice. Cousin, Auntie and Niece to Many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their Kahawa Sukari Estate home from 3:00pm and Sagas Hotel, Thika Road at 6.00 pm for prayers and funeral preparation.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 28th March, 2023 at 7.00 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral, Nyeri Town and thereafter interment at her family home in Githakwa Village, Karaihu Sub-Location, Tetu, Nyeri County.
