Damaris Wanjiru Ng’ethe

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our dear mother Damaris Wanjiru Ng’ethe, after a short illness bravely fought.
Loving wife to the late Robert Ng’ethe. Mother to: Judy Gicharu, Nancy Gikonyo, Ian Ng’ethe, Anthony Ng’ethe, Evonne Ng’ethe, Karen Ng’ethe, Alison Kariuki, Nick Ng’ethe and Patrick Mburu.Mother-in-law to: Kuria Gikonyo, John Gicharu and Marianna Mburu. Damaris was adored by her grandchildren: Wanja (Jaja), Ciru A, Kabare, Njambi, Udi (Shesh), Mucohi, Ciru B, Ciru C, Joshua, Robert and Christopher. She was a doting great grandmother to Caliana and Phillip.
Friends and Family are meeting daily at her home in Red Hill from 2.00pm.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, 7th June, 2022 at St. Stephens Church, Red Hill at 11.00am. Thereafter the Burial will take place at the family home in Karura, Wangunyo.
2nd Timothy 4-7:”I have fought the good fight, I have won the race, I have kept the faith.”
It is of great sorrow to learn the death of Damaris Wanjiru Ng’ethe.
Indeed this is the darkest part of life that a family go through. The Bible gives us encouraging hope that we can have for our dead loved ones. John 5:28,29 says, ”Do not be amazed at this for the time is coming when all those in their graves will hear his voice and come out.” The Bible has an assurance of the resurrection of our dead loved ones.
