Daniel Maina Kirungui

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel Maina Kirungui on 28th October, 2023.

Daniel was the beloved husband of Mrs. Rosemary Wangui Maina. Adoring father to Purity Wanjiku, Irene Nyakweya, Patrick Mukundi & Anne Wambui, Judy Muthoni & Chris Mucora and Eunice Murugi & Tejpal S. Hunjan. Doting Grandfather to Ashley, Rose, Amie,Abigail, Joy, Alexis and Nathan.

Son of the late Samuel Kirungui Chege & the late Magdalene Nyakweya Kirungui. Brother to the late Chege, the late Wachira, the late Waititu, the late Muthuumbi, Mary Murugi, Peter Kiruri & Joseph Gitonga.

Son-in-love to the late Pius Karienye Githogori & Priscilla Gathoni Karienye. Brother-in-love to Justus Githogori & Nancy Wanjiru, Stephen Gachara, Jane Wairimu, Livingstone Kabaire & Esther Wahito. He was an uncle, cousin and a friendto many.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home at 8.00am on Monday 6th November 2023 followed by funeral service at 10.00 am at PCEA Suburb Church, Nakuru West in Nakuru County.

Interment will be at the family farm at Murunyu (neighbouring St. Georges Grassland Academy) in Nakuru, Bahati Constituency.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at the family home in Ranges View Estate, KITI, Nakuru County from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
