Daniel Njigua Gachimu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God will that we announce the death of Daniel Njigua Gachimu, that occurred on 15th October, 2022 at Consolata Hospital – Mathari.

Son of the late Moses Gichimu and the late Rebecca Wachuka. Loving husband to Beatrice Nyambura Njigua. Loving father to Rebecca Wachuka and Peter Kinyajui, Moses Gachimu, Purity Wairimu, Henry Muraya and Daniela, Moses Gachimu and Naomi Nyambura, Richard Maina and Esther Wangari, twins Esther Muthoni and Moses Maina and Fr. Samuel Njigua of Chaka Catholic Parish.

Brother to John Wambugu, the late Joseph Wangondu, Mary wakiirungi, Peter Njeru, the late Anastacia Wambui and the late Ephraim Kariuki.

Grandfather to Janet Muthoni and Richard Gachau, James Kingara, Nicholas Kiambuthi, Njigua Kinyajui, Njigua Gachimu, Nyambura Gachimu, Virginia Gachimu, Abigael Maina, Daniel Maina, Jeremiah Maina, Ngatia Maina Njigua Maina, Davis Maina, Daniel Muraya, and Henry Muraya. Great-grandfather to John Ngunju.

The cortege leaves St. Michael Funeral Parlour – Mathari on Friday, 21st October, 2022 at 7:45am for the funeral service at Our Lady of Divine Providence – Gikondi Catholic Parish and later on will be laid to rest at his home in Gikondi, he rested at the age of 75 yrs.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, you have kept the faith.
