David Gachuhi Wambugu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Gachuhi Wambugu after a long battle with cancer. He was working with Ongata works and previously Barclays bank.

He was the son of Dorcas Wambeere Wambugu and the late Simon Wambugu Mucheru. He was husband to Alice Njeri Gachuhi. Father to James Wambugu, Dorcas Mukabi, Fredrick Chege and Ezbon Kihara. Father In-law to Jackie Wambugu, Mukabi Tharao, Anne Chege and Fiona Kihara.

He was brother to Kihara Mucheru, Judy Maina, Githumbi Wambugu, Clement Wambugu, Phyllis Maina, Josephine Thuku, Dr Nicholas Wambugu, Jacinta Mwai, Edward Mwangi and Caroline Muruli.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Buruburu Phase 2 House Number 713 and at Magomano in Nairobi.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary Thika Rd on Saturday, 4/6/2022 at 7.30am. The funeral service will be at ACK Kamune and thereafter burial at home, Thaara Village, Mathioya Constituency, Murang’a County.
