It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of David Kairira Mathiu who hails from Gitambu Village, Kunene Sub-location, Nkomo Location, Tigania West Sub-County, Meru County, which occurred on Saturday 1st May, 2021.

Loving wife of Beatrice Gatitu. Son the late M’Murithi and the late Ciobaithiria. Step-son of the late Ciathaimuta M’Murithi. Adoring father of Purity Nkirote, the late Georgina Gatwiri, Dinah Makena, Miriam Kawira, Jesse Mutirithia and Boniface Kithia. Father-in law of Emilio Muriithi, Bosco Imenyi, Antony Muriithi, Faith Karambu and Stella Kananu. Son-in-law of the late M’Limberia Kiricha and the late Ciabaitaru M’Limberia. Brother of the late Samuel M’Kirigia, the late M’Kubania, the late M’lkiugu, the late Rigiri, the late Mukociogi, the late Gaitenga, the late Kaburo, Harun Ngeera and M’Rukunga. Grandfather of Mukiri; Kim, Wanja, Amara, Pendo, Talia, Ryan and Rina.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Nchiru Meru County and Githurai in Nairobi for prayers and furieral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 7th May 2021 at 9.00am for prayers and funeral Service at MCK Ngugi Nchiru and thereafter burial at his home in Nchiru, Gitambu Village in Meru County.
