David Karanja Wakaba (Kinyori)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. David Karanja Wakaba (Kinyori), which occurred on Saturday, 16t’h July, 2022.

Son of the late Joseph Wakaba Kungu and the late Penninah Njeri. Husband to the late Margaret Wambui Karanja. Brother to the late Daniel Mbugua and the late Esther Kimani.

Father to Paul Mburu (UK), Penninah Njeri (UK), Joseph Wakaba, Mary Njoki Chege (US) Daniel Mbugua (US) and Nancy Waithira Sofowora (US). Father-in-law to Ludmila Mburu, Wangui Wakaba, Sam Chege, and Gbenga Sofowora.

Grandfather to Ruthann Mburu, Joyce Mburu, Eleanor Mburu, David Wakaba, Niara Wakaba, Hannah Chege, Wambui Chege, Jeremiah Chege, Wanjiku Chege, Dara Sofowora, Konyinsola Sofowora and David Mbugua.

Burial is scheduled for 3rd August, 2022 at his rural home. Further details on funeral arrangements to be announced later.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at both his Garden Estate residence, next o Braeburn High School as well as rural home in Kibichoi, Komothai, Githunguri.
