David Macharia Gikingo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved David Macharia Gikingo that occurred on 11th October 2022 at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital after a short illness.

Son to the late John Gikingo and the late Esther Muthoni. Husband to Martha Nyambura Gikingo. Father to John Harambee Gikingo, Esther Muthoni Ndirangu, Shumi -Rose Emily Miskowicz, the late Kennedy Kariu, George Gatei, Tabby Wangeci Wanjau, Zipporah Gikingo, Emily Gikingo and Charles Mwai Gikingo.

Brother to Emily Wambaire Gikingo, the late Rahab Wangeci Muriuki, the late Ruth Nyakairu Njau, Joe Mwangi Gikingo, Jane Wangui Gatua, Ruth Njoki Ndegwa and Sammy Waweru Gikingo.

Father-in-law to Mary Gikingo, David Ndirangu Theuri, Leornard Kamau Njoroge, Evelyne Wanjiru Kariu, Timothy Wanjau Maina, the late Rose Gatei and the late Ben Gitonga Kimani. Grandfather to many children and grandchildren.

Funeral arrangement meetings are taking place daily at Blue Springs Hotel Thika Road and prayer meetings at his home Kahawa West Nairobi and his rural home Munanda Subukia Nakuru County.

Memorial service will be held on 18th October 2022 at 6:30pm, P.C.E.A Kahawa West Church.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru for burial on 21st October 2022 at his home in Munanda Farm Subukia, Nakuru County.
