David Mwangi Njagi Gathaara “Mwas”

1990 – 2022

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved son David Mwangi Njagi Gathaara “Mwas”, that occurred on 21st August, 2022 through a tragic road accident.

Son to Zachary Njagi Gathaara and Florence Wangari Gathaara. Brother to Ruth Wangeci, Shalom Gathaara, Rachel Muthoni, Benjamin Mutahi and George Macharia.

Brother-in-law to Evans Nyarandi, Gladys Wambui, Linet Kathambi and Grace Wakhanu.

He was the grandson of Ex-Chief Harun Gathaara and Peris Nyahura and Alexander Githanda and CharityWambui. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily from Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th August, 2022 at All Saints Cathedral, from 5:30pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home (use the gate along the Northern Bypass) on Saturday 27th August, 2022 at 7:00am for funeral service and interment at Ihururu village (next to the Chiefs’ Camp) Tetu Sub-county, Nyeri County at 10:00am.
