Father of Teresiah (Moi University), Githinji, Hannah, Cathy and Mike. Grandfather of Alvin Ng’ang’a. Son of the late Philip Githinji and the late Teresiah Nyokabi (Mama Ndei). Brother of the Late Daniel Muiruri, the late Charles Karanja, Michael Ndei, Peter Njogu, Margaret Wambui, Joseph Mburu, Esther Njuguna and Jane Njeri. Brother-in-law of Hellen Muiruri, Margaret Ndei, Lucy Njogu and Ruth Mburu.
