Davies Erastus Mwai

25th November, 1942 – 31st May, 2022 

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Davies Erastus Mwai, formerly Production Manager KCC.

Son of the late Gucura Ngunju and the late Lucy Kagure Gucura. Brother to the late Teresina Karuana Gakara, Muthoni Kabubo, the late James Muriithi.

Beloved husband to Winifred Gacui Mwai. A loving father of Lucy Nyawira, Anne Nyakio, Peter Mwai and Arthur Karani.

Beloved grandfather to Michael Muthii, Mukira Gitahi, Mwai Gitahi, Michelle Gacui, Maida Gacui, Marc Mwai, Melissa Muthoni, Maya Gacui and Myla Makena. Great-grandfather to Cayde Peter Mwai.

Father-in-law to Charles Gitahi, Susan Mwai, Nyambura Mwai. Uncle to the Kabubos, Gakaras, Mureithis and Arthur Gitura Family.

A Prayer meeting will be held on Monday 6th June 2022 from 5:00pm at All Saints Cathedral.

A Church Service will be held on Tuesday 7th June, 2022 from 10:00am at All Saints Cathedral for family and friends.

Funeral will take place on Wednesday 8th June 2022. at Lisfarm in Kiambugu, Kirinyaga.
