It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of DC Walter Ratemo Onsembe; formely DCC Kabiyet Nandi South and Undersecretary Office of the President which occurred on 21/07/2017 after short illness.

Beloved husband of Isabella Moraa(Kaputiei Secondary school- Kajiado). Father of Jason (Maseno School), Beldine and Wallace. Son of the late Jason Masese Arasa and late Yunes Kemunto of Kegati/Matongo-Kisii County. Brother of Druscilla Okioma, Silvia Nyambaka, Joyce Kenyoru, Evans Onsembe, Janet Mogire, Getrude Nyachoti, Serafine Nyatichi,Jackline Nyaboke and Nicodemus Arasa. Son-in-law of Mr & Mrs Patrick Onsongo Ayega of Bonyando South Kisii. In-law of late Charles Okioma, Richard Nyambaka, Francis Kenyoru, David Omae, Ben Mogire, Martin Nyachoti (Canada), David Situma, Donald Onsongo and Wycliffe Ombogo.

Nephew of the late PS Sospeter Arasa, Samson Meroka, Evans Arasa, Jared Arasa, Nelson Arasa, Jackson Ombaki, Gwaro Kerema, Jeremiah Obwoma, DCC Evans Ogwonkwa, Hon. Charles Geni. Aunties: Pauline Arasa, Roseline Oanda, Sabina Ondari, Alice Monene, Josephine Ondieki, Esther Isaboke among others. Grandson of the late Nicodemus Arasa Nyakwara and Cecilia Gesare. Cousin of Evans Isaboke (CORAT), Fred Onkware, Peter Okemwa, Florence, Gladys, Kaka Arasa, Joan Monene (ACC Mombasa), Kefa, Lilian, John (KEFRI), Getandas, Isabokes, Ondiekis, Gwaros, Oncharis, Ondaris, Onuongas, Okongos, Onkwares. Uncle of Nicodemus Okioma (CCTV), Chrutris (Canada), Phanice (USA), Cliff, Brian, Eugene Arasa, Catherine, Eunice Kemunto, Elois (Canada, ) Dunslan (MSA), Maroin, Omeke among others.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily as from 5 pm at Tumaini Hse, next to Green Corner, his residence Kitengela, Mwalimu Hotel Kisii and Masongo home. There will be a mini fundraising at Nasal Discovery opp. Naivas Supermarket – Kitengela on 30th July 2017 from 5.00pm. Main fundraising will on Tuesday 1/8/2017 at 680 Hotel Nairobi and Mwalimu Hotel Kisii. Cortage leaves Umash Funeral home on Thursday 3/8/2017 for burial at Masongo home on Friday 4/8/2017.
